God’S Plan for His Chosen: the Cost and the Conflict Kindle Edition

5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 1 rating

Gods Plan for His Chosen reaches back to ages past to address events that served as precursors to Adam. Such major events included Gods drafting of His detailed plan for those He would create in His own image, along with the participants in that plan.

A major part of the curse resulting from the sin in the garden of Eden included Gods proclamation to Satan that He would put enmity between him and the woman and between his seed and her Seed.

Such began the odyssey of redemption for man and the ongoing conflict between Gods chosen and the enemy and his seed.

Much is said about the conflict and the differences between the kingdom minority and the world majority.

The lengthiest and final chapter of Gods Plan for His Chosen is in fact entitled: What in the World Is the Majority Up To These Days and addresses such issues as secular progressivism in America.

This book is ideally suited for group Bible studies inasmuch as 959 verses are quoted from 51 books of the Bible.

Top review from the United States

Walt Thrun is a most gifted Bible scholar and teacher. He opens this book by reminding us that a Triune God is the beginning of all. The plan of God is presented by His own work of creation, redemption, and presenting a blood sacrifice for redemption as early as a way to deal with Adam and Eve's sins. The author relates the promises of God as facts waiting to happen. The events of biblical history are then listed as they move toward forming the nations of the end times. This book is a great tool for understanding prophecy and the times in which we live. Likewise, the book addresses a good history of the nations that are currently involved in world politics and what role these nations will play in God's economy. Walt's linguistic training and Bible knowledge surface repeatedly to keep a reader fascinated and wanting to read more about the subjects mentioned at the end. I found this book to be almost magnetic in reading as I did not want to put it down once I began reading it. Fifty-one books of the Bible provide quotes for this book. This is one of the best books on Bible prophecy that I have read, and it has my highest recommendation for any individual or group.
