Review

'We Will Not be Silenced'is a call to arms; it is muffled voices upon strangled voices ripping the gags off to scream their stories and speak truth to power. 'We Will Not be Silenced' is rage and heartbreak, it is the soul-crushing pain of the worst kind of human violation being laid bare for all to see, and it is laid bare with an unflinching power that demands you to keep reading. These stories are poignant and disturbing, and they are filled with everything this world needs to read right now.

-Nicole Lyons, Blossom and Bone

A must read
This book is vulnerability and strength at its best. It is the cries of the victims and it is the testament of a surviver. The raw and visceral pieces and art are exactly what we need in an era where we are still pretending innocence and will arent stolen from both children and adults on a regular basis. Beyond that, it is proof of how much we can overcome and still thrive. Excellence from cover to cover.

5.0 out of 5 stars Difficult but necessary topic. These voices deserve to be heard.

What a beautiful compilation of writers and humans who dive into a topic that has unfortunately touched so many lives. Their voices are necessary and I would highly recommend giving this book a read. You may find your own story or pieces of healing and transformation and hope throughout.

This book is the collective roar of pent up emotion, of being silent no longer. It literally stirs up every emotion - sadness, anger, disbelief - but you can also feel the strength emanating off of every page. The courage of the voices that were once quiet is awe inspiring.
