Sono una professionista del campo (che, per inciso, corrisponde alla criminalistica e NON alla criminologia) e trovo assurdo che questo "libro" possa avere recensioni a 5 stelle. Non si comprende davvero quale utilità possa avere, e chi possa trarre vantaggio da una pubblicazione così poco informativa.
Strutturalmente è pessimo.
Se non fosse per l'argomento trattato, sembrerebbe un libro per bambini delle elementari, stampato con i tipici caratteri cubitali e con un numero di parole che probabilmente non supera le 50 per pagina. Il testo più lungo è quello che si trova nel retro di copertina (che poi è lo stesso riportato nella descrizione su amazon). L'impaginazione è degna di un neofita di PowerPoint, con riquadri messi a caso, neppure centrati, e font diversi e deformati anche nella stessa immagine. I pochissimi concetti sono talmente semplificati da essere totalmente privi di rigore scientifico. Le foto - che dovrebbero essere il punto forte della pubblicazione ("visual guide"...) - non hanno nessun elemento di interesse che possa differenziarle da tutte quelle che si possono trovare anche gratuitamente online semplicemente cercando il tipo di pattern. L'unica cosa che sembra essere importante per l'autore, è ripetere il proprio nome, in grassetto, in basso a sinistra su ogni singola pagina...avremmo forse potuto dimenticarlo altrimenti?
In definitiva, questo fascicoletto corrisponde probabilmente a ciò che si può trovare più o meno nelle prime 2-3 pagine di un capitolo di un vero libro sulla BPA, però in versione riformulata "for dummies". Del tutto inutile per chi lavora o si appresta a lavorare in modo professionale in questo campo poiché, per fortuna, è necessario acquisire solide competenze scientifiche ed interfacciarsi con ricostruzioni visive molto più complete e precise. Inutile anche per i semplici curiosi, non pratici della materia, perchè comunque imparerebbero molto di più da una delle tante serie TV...
Consiglio sinceramente di evitare la spesa.
