Swartz delivers like a punch in the gut. Over the top yet somehow relatable characters with more twists and turns than a back country road. Bingeworthy reading.

This book was a crazy rollercoaster of action and emotion. This story did not disappoint at all and it continues to introduce new characters and plot twists I did not see coming. The story ends with Gabriel referencing more work to be done and I can't even fathom what it could possibly be. Not gonna lie I'm completely intrigued and can't wait to start book 3 in the series. I would definitely recommend this book

There was nothing I did not like about this book! It was great. Reminded me of the Sookie /Vampire series of books. Except with..... Oops can't tell you that! Read it to find out....

Some time has passed since the events of Seraphim, and Wyatt has been raising his son Will away from his angelic family.

Gabriel is hiding the truth about Will and has decided to let Wyatt try his best to raise him to be a good person. Everyone says Will is too dangerous to exist in the mortal realm!

Also someone new has escaped, Abaddon. He doesn't have any good plans for his time on Earth and it's Lucifer's responsibility to track him down, but first an enormous amount of demons have also escaped they are wreaking havoc.

A great continuation of the story set up in Seraphim, Nephilim even expands the world the author has created with more surprises.

The author uses a broad story telling style that delivers multiple story plots happening concurrently. While some may prefer a more narrowed plot I enjoyed this style for the ensemble cast.

The narration is splendid and they deliver many different characters with unique voices. I was easily able to distinguish characters apart before being told who was speaking. The narrator delivers comedic character lines very well and I continue to enjoy Valerie soooo much!

I received a copy of this audiobook for honest review.

I really enjoyed Nephilim as a follow on to Seraphim. The author gave me more of what I needed in terms of satisfying the loose ends from book one. Of course, now I'm wondering what's coming next!

I received a Free Advanced Review Copy in exchange for an honest review.

The return to the dysfunctional, supernatural family, is well worth it. Whether you love/hate/question the dynamics of the characters, i.e. Lucifer (Lucie), you will without a doubt be pleasantly surprised. I will not post spoilers, because well, that would be cruel; something Lucie will do. But, I will suggest you bring your, fascination for the otherworldly creatures that lurk in the woods, homemade donuts the likes of which the angels delight in, and devious miscreants that will make your heart skip a beat.

This is the second offering in the Seventh Day Series, and a worthy successor to Book One - Seraphim. You will be reunited with your favorite, and not so favorite beings as they hunt a menace that threatens the children of man. Join Wyatt, Gabriel, Valerie, Will, and Lucifer, in their latest journey towards the underbelly of this world's tumultuous existence. The foundations are set for a brilliant series, and I am looking forward to book three.

Too much, too rushed. Like a 1st rough draft or outline that never filled out for completion. Seraphim was a bit rushed as well, but as a first in a series I could see the reasoning as introducing characters. More storyline I'm Seraphim as well. This book, Nephlim, was an hour read and too choppy and undeveloped, too rushed. Do Not Bother.
