I also survived the funeral of Monsignor Romero, searches and "preventive detentions" by the National Guard, a twelve-year civil war, more hurricanes, earthquakes, some shootings while lying on the ground looking for protection, the final offensive of 1989, a total eclipse (which was going to be the end of the world), a spectacular motorcycle accident, the passage of the year 2000 (which was also going to be the end of the world and the Infocalypse), more earthquakes, the sanctuary of the year 2000 (which was also going to be the end of the world and Infocalypse).

In addition to the above, we managed in the new millennium to be present in more earthquakes, to the sanctification of Monsignor Romero in the same place where his funeral was held more than 38 years later (Metropolitan Cathedral), to get sick and survive the first strain of COVID-19, especially to get out alive from my mom's flip-flops.

An electrician by profession and computer scientist by choice, in love with programming, my wife and children, also in love with the things that make me Salvadoran, full-time employee (meek slave whom God will have to forgive), blogger, macho reader (according to Cortazar), father and husband, Scout leader, amateur musician and now, also aspiring writer even more amateur.
