Roni and Lee are very good friends. They play games together, until one day they find War Dragon Nuki. In a desire to do some serious stuff, they are heading into an adventure to save the world from War Dragon. They have some light stone that stops shining when they fight but does extraordinary magic when they love each other. They have a flying car. Petra, the sister of Peter Pan is helping them all along. Their task is to go to the future to collect the Peace flower that can destroy the War Dragon.
As one of the children, I too am not sure how can someone alone defeat the machinery of war. Maybe if we start teaching our children to believe they can do it for the earliest age. And the best way will be to teach them to never do to others what they wouldn't want to be done to them.
Amazon and Trojans, you fought very inversely.
Then the queen Penfesileya you killed, I'm sorry.
Then Achilles was struck by the unusual beauty.
He suddenly came to Lesbos and the rite performed there.
Like Skeyskih at the gate?
Paris shot as he could.
One wounded in the heel, and the second in the chest.
Priam's daughter Polyxena you fiends deception.
Penfesileya and Achilles.
Every honest so I served.
World tragedy folded.

aspire to find the Peace Flower in the future and bring it back to Earth as it does not exist in our present. At the beginning of the novel, the children discuss their helpless feelings as they live in a world where it is the adults that make all the big decisions. In their eyes, adults tend to resort to violence to solve the world’s conflicts.
Roni is skeptical of abolishing war due to the fact that war has been a tool to resolve conflict
since the beginning of time. He points to how media obsesses over covering violence, not peace.
Lee, however, is much more optimistic and profoundly questions:
“Every war ends with a Peace Treaty, so why not begin with a Peace Treaty?”
Why not negotiate and sign the Treaty before all those soldiers and innocent people are killed?”
The attitude of the children resonates with the children of our generation. Initiall, they fear and feel that they are not able to make a difference in the world. Roni and Lee then go on a magical mission to bring home the peace flower from the future. On their journey, they experience extraordinary adventures and meet wonderful creatures, some of them from classical literature and art, that reflect and grapple with the major issues of our present life such as war and peace, poverty, and feminism. They save the planet, which proves to them and readers the impact that even children can have to influence our planet.
‘Peace Flower’ has been used to teach peace education in schools all around the world. It is published in Hebrew, English, and Arabic, and is currently being translated into more languages. The book features Ada Aharoni’s special artwork, along with peace art from other talented artists.
It kept me intrigued with it's many heart felt moments!
