As a Christian book I was fully prepared for a lot spiritual truth which inevitably moves me to tears. What I found so refreshing about this book, however, is that the spiritual truth is as uplifting as it is deep.
Bryan is so intelligent, and the book is written so well, that nothing on Netflix or social media could possibly draw you in as fast and as strong as this book.
Honesty, I couldn't put it down, my side hurt from laughter reading His journey through the southern us...and Texas, especially Texas... ESPECIALLY WEST TEXAS...LOL (I love EAST Texas ;)
I'm truly grateful for the Lord leading me to find Bryan's testimony years ago, and grateful to Bryan for being unafraid to warn the world in his straightforward, matter of fact, hilarious, but so humble way. He shares the playful, good-hearted ways of my dearest friend which makes this book the best thing I've read since the KJV.
The typical person walking this earth...-for now-... has no clue what awaits those who think they know better, or believe they don't have to make a choice at all.
The fact is, you're in sin, or you're in righteousness... these are the only "choices" we get. The reality, however, is you're born one way, into sin, and you have only 1 choice during your shirt time on earth.
It's up to each person as to whether or not they die in eternal sin or not.
This book is well worth the reading glasses headaches, and even atheists will have a hard time putting this book down (if they're honest enough to read it), and find it hard to deny the truth in every word of this book.
In Hell’s Dominion, Mr. Melvin describes what was clearly a near-death experience (NDE) precipitated by clinical or near clinical death. His experience had many of the classic elements described in a number of NDE studies.
Books and articles about Hellish NDEs seem to fall into two broad categories; those that have a jarring sensational quality about them and those that report observations that track with the Scriptures and fit the patterns of most extended NDEs. In my opinion, Mr. Melvin’s book falls into the latter category.
Anyone considering Hells Dominion who is not familiar with NDEs will invariably ask the fundamental question – is he reporting an actual experience truthfully? Based on the events Mr. Melvin reports, I believe he is. His experience was so complex – or content rich in NDE parlance – that one could rule out the honest reporting of a really bad dream or hallucination. That leaves two other possible explanations – an elaborate hoax or a breathtakingly truthful account. Judging from Mr. Melvin’s radical transformation to Christianity and his modest lifestyle of sharing his experience and teaching the gospel after the experience, I believe his post-NDE actions bare witness that he is honestly reporting what he experienced.
Many of the reviews either pan or praise his work for both biblical and non-biblical reasons. Many of his observations; however, have been corroborated by either Bible Scripture or the reports of other NDE witnesses. Based on my readings and research, I believe his experience is an unfiltered accurate account that was not the result of some supernatural deception.
Segments of Mr. Melvin’s NDE to hell are unique in that no one else has reported the same details; however, his observations are supported by scripture. A case in point is Mr. Melvin’s initial encounter with Christ in chapter 5. Page 68. While his description of observing Christ removing and then using some odd looking ancient keys may seem like an arcane and trivial detail or the stuff out of a Harry Potter movie – the reported observation takes on new meaning when one considers Revelation 1:18: I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold I am alive forever more, Amen. I have the keys of Hades and of Death. (NKJV)
The vortexes Mr. Melvin reports have been documented in a number of positive and hellish NDE accounts, although most writers have used different terminology. One of the many illuminating facets of his book is his description of watching other people arrive in hell via a vortex and then being met by demons masquerading as family or friends – a revealing detail when one considers all of the blissful NDEs reported by those who’s NDEs were cut short by resuscitation.
One of Mr. Melvin’s main observations is his description of the cubes in the gigantic spiral pit. While their structure and function are entirely unique, the basic premise of cells being in hell is supported by both other NDE witnesses as well as the Bible. Of great interest is his observation that the cubes were six deep and six high. A number of Bible scholars have documented that six is the number representing man.
Mr. Melvin devotes a great deal of his book describing souls trapped in the cubes undergoing torment or just recompense for un-repented sins on earth. While some have criticized him for repetition, I found it praiseworthy that he took the time to recount the life stories of as many denizens of hell as accurately as possible. Just as a correspondent describing the horrors of war by giving an in-depth description of battle field carnage, Mr. Melvin did the true horror of hell justice by painstakingly describing the vast variety of individuals from all walks of life who are interred for eternity. Sobering thought.
Some reviewers have also disparaged Mr. Melvin for his reporting of a foul-mouthed reptilian guide and his unending diatribe on the unjust nature of God. The repetitive profanity jingles that the beast spoke match similar experiences reported by other NDE witnesses. Once again, Mr. Melvin appears to be reporting what he actually witnessed without regard for the entertainment quality of the material. Yet a number of NDE witnesses have reported experiencing demonic creatures and or an evil presence that spoke in a taunting profane manner.
Mr. Melvin has also been taken to task by reviewers for his attempts to convey the content of the communications from the spiritual entity that spoke in essentially telepathic word dumps. Still others have dismissed such sections of the book as negative. A review of many NDE witnesses, both on the public NDE non-profit websites as well as the numerous books in print, confirm that spiritual entities encountered during NDEs, most notably Jesus Christ, communicate exactly as Mr. Melvin describes – using downloads of immense quantities of information.
While some readers may question how Mr. Melvin could have recalled even a rough approximation of just of a portion of the non-verbal communications from spiritual entity - presumably Christ or some other celestial being, a review of the major themes of the messages reveal that they tracked with the arguments that Mr. Melvin had made when harassed Christians during his misguided youth. Mr. Melvin, who apparently had a well-honed ability to attack Christian beliefs with a standard repertoire of challenges, had a ready-made mental framework to draw on while reconstructing the essence of God’s message. In addition, since Mr. Melvin reports that the messages were communicated directly to his mind, one can safely assume that at least small remnants of those messages remain in his memory. Rather than viewing his recollections as detractor, I found them to be profoundly revealing – wisdom directly from God’s kingdom that can inform all of mankind.
Lastly, a review of Mr. Melvin’s life, post-NDE, is fairly easy to track on the web. He is clearly a changed man.
The riddles were grand and lyrically beautiful to my ears and my soul. No devil could EVER speak so lavishly...
The way the Most High accepted his challenge, but first humbled him, and then gave him an authoritative response to the questions in his mind... wow...
The Most High is AMAZING!! There is NONE like him!!!
Thank you for this elaborate, truthful testimony!!!

So my brothers and sisters, read this book well. Spend time over the dialogues between Christ, Melvin and Satan, and judge for yourself whether is it worth risking hell for vain philosophies and believing in evolution which is a big lie.
