Cozy Delights: No-brainer Comfort Food Kindle Edition

The Cozy Delights cookbook is full of all my cherished recipes from my three years of blogging. You will never have to wonder what you'll be having for dinner again. There are recipes for drinks, sides, breakfast, lunch and dessert as well. These 48 comforting recipes have been carefully handpicked by me and I hope that some of these will resonate with your taste buds. There are actually experimental recipes like my iced tea lemonade recipe-which literally combines iced tea and lemonade but may not be your cup of tea. That's one of my favorite drinks to get at the grocery store.

Whiles being comforting, these recipes also feel very fresh. They are "no-brainer" meaning that you don't have to be a chef or have cooking experience to make them. In my early 20s, I really struggled with cooking because I had archaic ideas of what cooking should be. Whipping up what to eat doesn't have to be hard: it can be fun and creative!

Cutting into it...

This banoffee pie is made with a Graham almond crust and is so epic for any special occasion. It has layers of dulce de leche, sliced bananas, whipped cream and shaved chocolate.

It's cut!

Here's a slice...

And it's devoured!

pumpkin macaroni and cheese

I call this my riskiest macaroni and cheese recipe

Can you believe it? I'm almost 30 years old and have never made macaroni and cheese on the stove till I created this book. It's very good though and I'm happy my fears about not baking my macaroni and cheese was unfounded. It's very saucy, creamy and just a holiday dream. Find the recipe below.

cider mimosas

sauced meatballs

Brown sugar iced latte

Iced lattes are always in season. Decided to go a bit crazy and made this with a marshmallow brown sugar syrup. This was a really fun recipe to make!

Pumpkin cupcakes

These fluffy pumpkin cupcakes really have all the fall vibes. To top it off, it has a coffee buttercream frosting. I don't like cupcakes like that to be honest, but these are an exception.

Peach cider mimosas

Peach cider mimosas. I consider this a classic from the blog because of how popular it was. It is mostly peach juice, alcoholic cider, champagne and other good stuff. Tastes like a sparkly dream!

Orange sweet and sour meatballs

These baked meatballs are simmered in a homemade orange sweet and sour sauce. Yes. Orange sweet and sour sauce. Enough said.

Cooking had always been challenging on the weekdays when pressed for time, so creating an outlet for easy and wholesome recipes was definitely Effy's biggest goal. She launched The Foody Bean blog in late 2018. "I think the worst thing is wanting to make something that makes you drool...but you can't make it or don't know where to start!", she says.
