I found this book to be a great place to start if you are curious about the dark side of psychology. It gives a lot of good background of psychology, the history of, and examples of dark psychology.
The book goes quite in-depth on Manson and Bundy as examples of how psychology can be used in a dark way to control and manipulate people. I do wish there had been more examples of why certain things they did related to psychology and how during the telling of their history though.
I especially liked the chapter on body language! It was very informative and gave information that is invaluable to someone seeking to stay ahead of the game, so to speak, when it comes to protecting themselves. I actually discussed this book with my teen daughter to give her examples of what to watch for when approached by any person. Excellent examples!
I would like to thank Darren Preston for sharing his knowledge about the dark psychology that surrounds us every day, especially as a woman. The information you gave could save someone's life someday. I would like to see more books like this out there making people aware of what to watch out for. And letting girls especially, but everyone knows that it is okay to take care of your safety first. It is okay to say no when you don't feel comfortable.
I would recommend this book to anyone with children, to teach them how to see these things in people before it is too late.
