4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 4 ratings

Join New Zealand's most active and recognised paranormal research team as they roam the dark, dank corridors of some of Aotearoa's most allegedly haunted locations, and endeavour to lift the veil and shed light onto the time old question, "do ghosts exist?"
Beliefs, theories, science and scepticism; all are addressed. All lids are opened and many questions are asked, in the team's life long search into the unknown. Plus they give an intimate insight into their lives, growing up, thoughts, opinions and personal experiences; joined by many other contributing fellow paranormal investigators from around the country and overseas.
From theatres and hotels, to psychiatric hospitals and historical landmarks, to private home visits.... Haunted Auckland take you along for the ride with investigation reports, articles and helpful 'How to...' tips, for anyone wanting to get involved with the paranormal research field.

Top review from the United States

This book is a good "tells it how it is" introduction to the practice of paranormal research & particularly the paranormal research team "Haunted Auckland" & their countless hours of investigating, & -in a scientific/critical fashion- collecting & analyzing data around New Zealand.
Included are brief bios/points of view of the team members, intriguing accounts of many of the teams past investigations & useful background information on various paranormal theory & phenomenon.
The Authors' insatiable & tireless endeavour to track down, experience & record the supernatural provides an interesting read & a healthy stirring of curiosity.

3.0 out of 5 stars A Good Read
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on September 13, 2015
I gave this three stars out of five because I particularly love paranormal-themed books which really pile on and layer a spooky and mysterious atmosphere, and, the tone of this was mostly down to earth, (though it does definitely have very spooky content!). But I found it informative and interesting.
