Delicious! Salty like the sea but rinsing can decrease that. Great in salads

Tastes kind of weird, and felt like chowing a string. Didn’t really finish a box and just thrown it away. Purchased one for my mom for fun (before I got to taste mine) and she didn’t even get back to me after she tasted this 😂 Maybe we are doing something wrong

Great product! As advertised! If you want to reduce the “ocean” taste, soak a little longer or rinse a couple more times. Kind of fun to watch them rehydrate.

It did have a strong/pungent "fishy/ocean" taste after soaking it some, but soaking it in water (distilled or purified) reduces it by a good bit if left over night. At the same time, it does lose some flavor and have more of a very light seaweed taste. My suggestion to improve flavor, might be soaking it in some ponzu, soy sauce or something with salt/sodium and lots of flavor, which will "dehydrate" it or keep it so, if you've not let it soak already, and then rehydrate it.

I've had umibudo before and I know it's not supposed to have a fishy aftertaste like this does. Definitely not worth the price.
