The Spiral Library- The Oracle Kindle Edition

4.0 4.0 out of 5 stars 1 rating

After being elected as the successor to the Chief Librarian, Soe continues her training in the library. Now, being 16 years old, more mature, and more experienced, the young successor gets used to the role she has been put in. However, things are about to get rocky as Soe explores the forbidden books within the Spiral Library.

Everything will take a twist that no one other than Soe can stop. Soe’s mornings change from routine to awakening with memories of strange nightmares. She tries to defeat them by seeking good advice from the Chief Librarian, ignoring them, or medicines. They do not leave her till they deliver a message; an invitation from the most unusual person for the most unusual reason. Her experiences will take her to unknown lands and make her question her self-confidence and decision-making.

This time Soe is left all alone without the help and advice of the Chief Librarian to defend the library against its arch-enemy, Kal. While not only her life but others’ lives that are dependent on her are at risk, she does not hesitate to dive into adventure and face danger even when she has to stand against a fierce red dragon.

We will follow Soe’s story as she visits an underground palace in the desert and travels beyond the gates of the rising sun. Her adventurous journey makes us question our perception of reality in a page-turning thriller of non-stop action.

Evren Sener, an accomplished screenplay writer and author, was born in Istanbul, Turkiye, in 1978. Having gained Dutch citizenship through naturalization, she now resides with her daughter in the Netherlands.

Evren's academic journey is a testament to her diverse interests and commitment to lifelong learning. Starting with a foundation in food engineering, she pursued further studies, obtaining an MBA in Turkiye. Her thirst for knowledge led her to the Netherlands, where she earned her MSc in Human Nutrition, Health, and Disease from Wageningen University in 2011.

Throughout her formal education spanning two decades, Evren seamlessly intertwined her academic pursuits with her passion for writing. She contributed short stories, book reviews, and articles and conducted interviews for various newspapers, journals, and magazines in Turkiye. Leveraging her educational background, she ventured into the world of lifestyle and diet books, becoming a recognized expert.

Evren's journey extended beyond borders as she immersed herself in certificate programs at Gujarat Ayurved University and Yoga Swami Vivekananda Yoga University in India. This exploration introduced her to Sanskrit, a language she further studied at Leiden University, deepening her understanding of spirituality. These ancient teachings guided Evren to write in the young adult fantasy spirituality genre.

In 2012, Evren marked her entry into fiction with the publication of her first young adult fantasy book on Amazon Kindle, later releasing it in Turkiye in 2014. Her literary repertoire now boasts several published works on Amazon and her official website.

Currently, Evren Sener is immersed in diverse creative projects, from crafting enchanting children's stories to developing compelling novels, screenplays and uplifting journals, and she embraces the challenge of Sanskrit-Turkish translations. As an author continuously exploring the intersection of literature, spirituality, and cultural wisdom, Evren's work resonates with readers of all ages, inviting them into worlds where imagination meets profound insight.

Top review from the United States

This is an excellent sequel. I recommend reading the original first, as one might find themself a bit lost if they jump in here. As Soe continues her training, she is put into situations that require her to make difficult choices. It would seem that the fate of the Library is in her hands.
