The book is bent and torn. It does not look new. The material made to use the book and cover are thin-- kind of like newspaper. It seems very cheaply-made.

My daughter is a 1st grader and loves these books. She absolutely enjoys each chapter and is excited when one book ends and she gets a new book. Highly recommend.

My children love the Magic treehouse series. I have read half of this book outlaid to my kids and although the books are a bit formulaic, especially the earlier ones in the series, my kids still love them. They have just enough historical details to be interesting but not overloaded to make them boring. I like the relationship between the book work brother and enthusiastic sister, it's good for my kids to see a cute sibling relationship. This series is a wonderful hit with kids and includes a lot of real facts, which keeps them learning!

My son is 6 and he lones this story. Its the 2nd one he hot. My wife read it to him today. I enjoyed it as much a she did. I think what would be gret is the publisher put the item with the M with the book. I'd pay a couple dollars more the the item that is in the story. Golf -M- coin and -M- ribbon. Wonder what item is in story 3. I have learned that the authory - Mary Pope Osborne - used to do story reading for kids. She handed the kids a coin with M on it as they came in and handed it back as they left. I also bought it for Ebooks. Its read by Mary Pope Asborne. How cool. Person reading it is the writer. Your getting full efect of how story was meant to be told.

Do yourself a favor and barrow a book to try out from your library and if your kiddos love it then buy a whole box set (if your desire is to own them all like me) way cheaper than buy the small sets.. My boys 6 & 8 LOVE these books. They actually ask to if we can read it every night!!! We are almost done with the whole series and have the next set Merlin Missions box set on it way to continue the adventure.

This is my son's favorite book series. This book is well done, "and as usual" is entertaining. These books have very short chapters, leading to brief chapter reads that are pre-paid

Having read some of the stories in the series to my kindergartners, I knew that my grandsons would enjoy them. The books provide adventure, excitement, and knowledge in a fun way. The love of reading so is very important.

I started these books for my wonderful grandson who is 5. He loved the books and love to hear about the characters in the book at night before falling asleep. He wanted chapter books and this was a great way to start. It’s great they follow in order.
