About the Author

The Canadian author, Marisha Wojciechowska, has lived in New York, Paris, Tokyo and Bangkok in the past 20 years and travels extensively with her family. Initially, she developed this refreshing and entertaining book concept wanting her son to discover the world on his own terms, in a fun and educational way. My Globetrotter Book was born from her passion for travel and discovery, but also and above all from her desire to awaken young minds to our vast and fascinating world. The graphic signature of My Globetrotter Book was developed by Angel Gyaurov, based in Bulgaria. The author and her graphic designer have formed a team on numerous projects over the years and have jointly produced numerous reports published on behalf of their various international clients. My Globetrotter Book is published by Maria Wojciechowska.

This is the impact I seek to make with my books...

Every time a child walks out through the door of their home, they are stepping into a vast, complex, diverse world. Knowing more about it, and more about that myriad of cultures that surround them, will help make them more open, more tolerant, more curious, and less scared.

With my books, I want to spark their sense of wonder and give them some joy. With my books, I seek to give them a better grip onto their world. Page-by-page, I hope to make my young readers see that this world has so much diversity and beauty to offer them.

So when that child steps out through their front door, my book in hand, they know more about it... and they are a little better equipped for that great big fascinating world out there awaiting them.

I also had the honour to be invited by Air France for an exceptional solo book signing event at the Air France VIP Lounges at both airports in Paris, August 4th & 5th 2022!
