About the Author

I met Anna-Marie in December of 1980. Our initial conversations revealed her to be a deep thinker. For her degrees in education (she graduated with two), Anna-Marie took numerous philosophy courses, at which she excelled. Her skill at poetry reflected her superior intelligence and depth of understanding of many difficult subjects which she chose to embrace.
Anna-Marie was multi-talented, and that's an understatement. Her poetry reflects this. However, she was not arrogant or high-minded– quite the opposite. Anna-Marie had a passion for people and especially as a teacher, for her students. Indeed, at the age of 12 years, she chose to pursue the profession because of a bad teacher she had that year, and she didn't want other students to suffer the same experience. If you were fortunate enough to be in Mrs. Fuller's elementary school class, it would be a seminal event that would change your life. I know because I lost count of the students and their parents who confessed as much. I can also add my voice to theirs because I had the distinct privilege of being married to Anna-Marie for 39 years, and she changed me in ways I can't even begin to describe. Without her influence in my life, I would be a much different person today. A much lesser person.
Anna-Marie's poetry reflects her compassion and understanding of the human condition. And nestled in among all the deep thinking, there are some fun little gems that show Anna-Marie had a lighter side– a playful side that rounded her out and made her all too human.

Peter Fuller worked in the Military History Department of the Glenbow Museum in Calgary, Alberta, Canada for eight years. He's studied military history for decades – over the years, he's written numerous articles and lectured at major museums and universities on the subject of military history. He's also been a regular panelist at NORWESCON since 2017.

Mr. Fuller has also studied the UFO phenomenon since grade school. He's a member of the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), and he's had a few “close encounters” of his own. Recently, he interviewed the son of a US military officer about his late father’s work on several special access projects for the secret space program.

Sunshine Laughing - The Poetry of Anna-Marie Fuller is an ode to Anna Marie's talent, faith, life and poetry in more ways than one. The foreword is a love letter and one of a kind by her husband that's moving and gives hope that love still exists in this jaded world.

If you always thought poetries are boring, complicated and filled with riddles, this book will make you rethink everything you thought you knew about poetry! Written beautifully, Anna teaches us poetry can be simplistic yet fulfilling and meaningful.

She covers an array of topics and they're written from the bottom of her heart. They make you think, laugh, cry and most importantly, they resonate with you. A very good read! It's a pity she lost her battle to cancer and we can't get more such gems from her, it's a treasure and a must read!

“Sunshine Laughing” is a book of poems that have an amazing depth and breath. I have never read poems that were so transforming and breathtaking. There are such wonderful illustrations in this poetry book. Some are by Anna-Marie Fuller and others are by her husband, Peter.

This compilation of poems is written in eloquent verses. After reading the poems, I felt so full of profound philosophical contemplations, thoughts, and raw emotion. Being a philosopher myself, these poems resonated with me to the core of my being. I was transformed by these poems in unimaginable ways.

This is remarkable book of poetry, that left me completely amazed. The words along with the artistic work just draw you into the experiences of Anna Marie. While she covers a range of topics, she expresses common feelings. Her life was a living legacy, because she touched so many during her lifetime.
