The AeroKat* chamber has been shown to keep more medication available so your cat has time to inhale the dose. The AeroKat* chamber has a high-performance, low-resistance inhalation valve that is extra-sensitive so that it opens even with shallow breathing. The AeroKat* chamber is made from a shatter-resistant, non-static polymer. Using the AeroKat* Chamber is easy! Simply follow these four steps:
- Shake inhaler and insert into back of chamber
- Press the inhaler to release medication
- Apply the mask to cover the nose and mouth but not the eyes
- Use the Flow-Vu* Indicator to count 7-10 breaths

Seems like a good product
Like many of us, this is an unexpected cost when we find out our furry friend needs our help. I reviewed other cheaper products and what made me go with Aerokat is that someone said without a breathing indicator a similar product is useless. When I tried it out on my cat I soon came to see what he meant. My cat was able to go a while with this strange thing on his face and didn’t breathe the first time. When I tried it again I could see and hear the indicator letting me know he was taking it in. I think that is imperative. You can see and hear the little indicator flapping and count breaths. .I did set it out the first few days on the floor so he could see it and become somewhat familiar. I set it on my bed too. I tried to use it with him while sitting on the floor and that did not provide me with enough leverage to keep him in place. Later I brought him to my couch and positioned him on my left hand side next to the couch arm that has a pillow against it. I feel fortunate that he is a somewhat docile cat. I would pet him and feed him wet food afterward as positive reinforcement. This is day 4 for me actually using it and he seems to be getting used to it. But I make sure to approach with kind, positive, yet thoughtfully assertive energy so he doesn’t start to equate the whole thing as an entirely negative experience. I tried to remind myself not to have super high expectations in the beginning as this is new to both he and I, and we need grace with each other. The first few times are experimenting. Try not to be discouraged.I don’t know what this inhaler will bring for him regarding his overall health, but the product itself seems to be very good and I’m glad I didn’t cut corners trying to save 20 bucks.As a side note, I make a singing sound to while pressing the inhaler! 😂 He does not like the noise too much so I sing!
