Twice jilted, I’ve sworn off love forever.
But Miller James might be the one man to change my mind.

Newly un-engaged, I’ve returned to Sugar Creek to the welcoming arms of my family to make a fresh start. While I have a reputation for being unlucky in love, I’ve just scored the career coup of a lifetime—to work at Hope Farms, a therapy ranch for military veterans. The problem? The owner is the arrogantly handsome Miller James. He might be an old friend, but Miller’s all grown up now and made it clear I’m not welcome. I’ve got six months to make my program a success, but it’s hard to help others heal with Miller’s interference—and the return of someone from my past.

Miller’s got some secrets of his own. After a family tragedy rocked his world, the entrepreneurial genius left his first class life behind to open Hope Farms. And maybe everything Miller touches does turn to gold, but when my sisters recruit him in their pursuit of my next Mr. Right , Miller gets a little too involved. The lines are blurring between work and romance, and my boss has ideas that make me question his strategies—and his heart.

Can two broken people mend enough to heal together? Nothing’s fair in love and farming, but can Miller James and I harvest our own happily ever after?

Sweet Right Here is the first book in the hilarious, swoony Lost Story Bookshop series. Perfect for fans of laughs, sighs, and closed-door romance.

Award-winning author Jenny B. Jones writes romance with sass and Southern charm. Woefully indecisive, she writes YA, New Adult, and women’s romance. Since she has very little free time, Jenny believes in spending her spare hours in meaningful, intellectual pursuits, such as watching bad TV, Tweeting deep thoughts to the world, and writing her name in the dust on her furniture. Sweet Rom-Com full of Southern Charm and Sass

Sweet Rom-Com full of Southern Charm and Sass
Sweet Right Here is another charming rom-com by Jenny B. Jones. It takes place back in Sugar Creek, which means some of our favorite characters, Sylvie and Frannie, are back and in full swing! They bring so much wit and charm to the Sugar Creek stories. In this book, we meet Hattie, another of Sylvie’s grandchildren, who has returned home after a (2nd) heartbreak. She lands a great job working for her childhood friend, Miller, who is all grown up and very successful! These two share many-a heated argument over work details and love interests. Their passion for their careers is inspiring and something that continues to draw them together. I am so excited for this first in a new Jenny B. Jones series! I can’t wait to read the next one!

Why did it take me so long to read this book? I read some of Jenny's books a few years ago and loved them. This book has everything I look for in a 5-star read: wit, quirky characters, and real-life hardships. Jenny does an amazing job writing a lighthearted story with depth! I fell in love with this book immediately!

I love Hattie and Miller together! They had the best banter! The side characters are so fun! Sylvie and Frannie kept me laughing, and I fell in love with Ernie. I cannot wait to see more of these characters in First to Fall!

If you have not read a book by Jenny, you need to read one asap!

I really liked the story, the characters were complex and dealt with some pretty complex heavy issues. I like the growth arc of the characters and it was cool to hear about how horse therapy works.

The one thing that I didn’t like was the author went overboard on describing how good looking the MMC is. Every time he comes on the scene we get to hear about it over and over. It got old and was way overdone IMO.

I enjoyed this from beginning to end.The author did a great job weaving a story the kept my attention and kept me guessing. Some of the twists and turns I wan’t expecting. It made me laugh out loud and it broke my heart.Learning about the equine assisted therapy program was one of the things I liked best.

Still dealing with her Dad abandoning her when she was a child and a broken engagement Hattie didn’t expect her current fiancé to break up with her at her grandmother’s wedding. When she meets Miller who was her brothers best friend when they were kids they both find that there is a spark between the two grown up friends. But Miller is her boss and they are not seeing eye to eye about the program she is to run on his ranch.

I loved the cast of characters from her ex CIA grandmother, Ernie who works with the equine program to Miller’s two nieces they were all portrayed in such a way I felt I knew them. This was complex in a way because. Hattie and Miller were each dealing with issues from their past and the fact that he was her boss was further reason not to get involved. I invite you to read and find out how they finally get together.

Loved the quick wit and sarcastic quips in this story. But the best part was the story line as it dealt with real trauma, real pain, hard situations and how to seriously deal with them. She was able to weave laughs and tears together in an authentic way and made me want to meet Hattie and Miller, and I definitely want to meet Ernie.
The author wrote the characters well and I felt like I’ve known people like she was describing with the misplaced coping skills and conflict avoidance. Can’t say I have any crazy aunts or grandmothers like Hattie but it made for a fun read.
I recommend this book and her second one too (which I happened to read first and loved it too).
I read this book every spare minute until I was done and it kept me engaged and eager to see what would happen.
I hope the author writes more in this series.

For some reason I did not have a positive attitude about reading this book. I am always a bit skeptical with authors new to me. This book was fantastic! The characters pulled you in immediately, the story was engaging and it deals with many timely & relatable issues. The dialogue is witty and make you smile/laugh! I really could not put it down! I highly recommend this if you are looking for an addicting, feel good read!

I liked this, but didn't love it, and I'm not sure why. It has a good story, likeable characters, nice setting. I just didn't feel drawn to it, didn't rush to pick it up and read more.
Probably just me, because it had all the basics for a good romance.

10 years ago I picked up a book because it had a cute cover, and it became one of my favorite books of all time. It’s called Save the Date by Jenny B. Jones. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve reread it over the years. I’ve waited patiently since then for Jenny to write another adult rom-com (I’m ashamed to admit I thought most of her work was young adult and didn’t know about the Sugar Creek series until now) so when she shared this book on Twitter this weekend, I snatched it up as quick as possible.
It was everything I wanted and more. The best witty banter I’ve found from any author, perfect romantic scenes that actually seem realistic, an ability to deal with serious issue with a deft hand. And as someone who grew up with horses and has a sister-in-law that is an equine therapist like Hattie, I really appreciated the accuracy in those areas of the story.
This book was a part of my kindle unlimited subscription, but I already ordered it in paperback. I just know it’s about to go into my “favorite book” rotation.
I’m also so glad I found this Sugar Creek family! I saw there was a book in the series about Will Sinclair and after years of reading Save the Date, trust me, that’s a big deal.
