About the author
Alex Hormozi is an American entrepreneur. He started as a management consultant in the public sector then left that career to pursue a career in fitness starting his first gym at age 23. He scaled his small gym chain from 0 to 6 locations in three years. Over the next two years, he and his wife started flying around the country turning gyms around.
Their large success, however, came from packaging and licensing his boutique gym model to 5000+ gyms around the world. They then started a supplement and software company to support that base of gyms. They sold a 66% stake in the company in 2021 at $46.2M to American Pacific Group. They then started Acquisition.com as a holding company for their private investments. The private equity firm focuses on making minority investments into cash flow positive growing founder owned businesses. They then scale those businesses. As of 2023, their portfolio of 16 companies generates $200,000,000 per year and growing.
The couple now has shifted their mission to making real business education available to everyone. They fulfill on this by making content across social media and publishing books and free courses for entrepreneurs.
Alex’s most recent book $100M Offers: How to make offers so good people feel stupid saying no, has sold 300,000 copies from word of mouth alone. In their spare time, Alex and his wife still enjoy training at hardcore gyms and fending off death one workout at a time.

It costs less than every other book I’ve ever read on business, and i came away having received a level of value none of them even came close to.
If you’re on the fence, don’t be.

Section 1 discusses a bit of background and lays out what this book seeks to solve.
Section 2 lays out tue ground work of understanding what leads are and how getting leads is not enough if you want to reach $100M and beyond. It also talks about ways you can engage your lead and increase success using some of the methods touched on in his first book and enhancing it using lead magnets! Section 3 actually talks about lead generation or getting leads and ways to do that as well as ways to supercharge certain methods! Section 4 discusses the idea of lead getters and the various types of lead getters and how to train them and motivate and incentivize them into becoming an invaluable persuasive force with an incredible reach! Section 5 , wraps it all up in a nice bow with some amazing tools like a roadmap and some great examples that will allow you to take action immediately by modelling your own strategies after the examples! Obviously you would need to modify some of the stuff so that it matches your needs! And as a really interesting little nugget, he adds in a short parable that hammers home the key to success when it comes learning how to use advertisements as a tool to get you the results you want and that it is a numbers game but using methods laid out in the book will help you figure out where to put your attention, focus and money into your advertising and marketing efforts, AND, just as importantly, if you use the methods and strategies in this book it will show you where NOT to waste your time resources, money and efforts! Once you start seeing the benefits of using these techniques and getting results and sales.. the book shows you multiple ways to scale it and amplify your results through increasing your advertising marketing reach using some of the more impactful lead getters like agencies and affiliates! I also liked how Alex used various strategies to increase his knowledge in areas that were crucial to his success and he initially knew nothing about! These strategies could potentially save some business owners years and tons of money and resources! Overall, was it a good read? In my humble opinion, absolutely! This book along with his first could be the catalyst that ends up charting a course that changes millions of people’s lives for the better!
One little gem that I will leave you with is this; Alex talks about his third volume/book - very briefly and says that it has yet to be finished or even titled! However, he is trying to decide if the book will be $100M Sales or $100M Persuasion or something along those lines! My gem is this; Alex and many other successful YouTube entrepreneurs have all pointed to a particular book that discusses this notion of influence and I would bet that a great deal of Alex’s next book will be inspired by and use the concepts from said book! This book is entitled ‘Influence The Psychology Of Persuasion’ written by Robert B. Cialdini
A hint that Alex have with regards to reading his books, is to also get the audio book, if you wanted to and play the audio book as you follow along with reading the books! Not only did I find it extremely helpful using this method, it also seemed to make me read the books faster and absorb the material better or easier! I have purchased both the audio book and the soft cover book Influence and I will listen and read this book starting today and hopefully have it finished by the end of this coming week! All of these books, both audio and soft cover versions are available through Amazon and that is where I got them from! The audiobooks were instant access and the soft cover books arrived two days after I ordered them! Amazing Amazon!
Honestly, all three books, soft covers and audio books, cost me less than $80 Canadian, which is probably only $60 American! But I have them for life and the content was so good, I am making a short Christmas list of who I want to send a couple of copies to! Thank you Alex! Thank you Leila! And Thanks to Trevor who helped Alex make this amazing contribution to the entrepreneurial community and dare I say, the world! All the best!
