I first saw this book at Inner Path on 31 S. I sat on the floor and was reading through the pages. The colors on the cover and subject matter drew me to it. I read about the author and some excepts from the book. I didn't buy the book while I was in the store. I took a flyer and left.
On the way home, the more and more I HAD TO HAVE THIS BOOK! Sometimes you feel that pull and it won't stop! As soon as I got home I looked it up on Kindle for my iPad. I honestly didn't think there would be a Kindle version and there it was! I bought it immediately and dug in. I finished the book in 2 days. Then I re-read the book again. (One thing about Kindle Books, you cannot use post-it tabs all over the place. :)
I read it again! I truly believe that book picked me! It was everything I needed to hear and need to hear often. I loved the references to other readings, that I have purchased in the meantime. I looked up every song, which happened to all be on my iPod, all book, quotation and word references.
I have to say this book helped me come to terms with myself and love myself! I feel like this book created a domino affect as to get my rear back on my path. I felt lost before. Annie poured out her soul, I started back on the path of clarity and awareness. Love filled my heart. I started seeing, accepting and now I feel like I am in a light speed tunnel moving forward.
Please read the subtitle of the book as I quote Annie: "A caterpillar knows little of wings before; its time has arrived." - And the poetry is wonderful and in the right places.
I believe what is so AMAZING about this book is that you can relate to a path of another. I think that mental and physical relationship from a book that gives you the tingles helped me greatly, WAKE UP!!!!!!!!
Please read this book, if it is from a bookstore or the kindle addition. I suggest that you buy the physical and not the digital; if you are into marking up with post-its like myself. I will buy this book in the physical form as well and read it again and again. Play with the ideas because you might be quite shocked of what you may find. I was! I am happy, I am loved and I keep going with the flow.
I want to thank Annie, Inner Path Bookstore, and Kindle to hit me in the face with this book. I believe if you take any negativity or negative thoughts from this book, either you are not ready for it (so put it down), or you are caught up in the limiting beliefs that won't make you progress and there is other work that needs to be done. Don't buy this book if your intention is to rip it to shreds. Buy this book with and open heart. (My personal suggestion).
