KB's History Of Clash Of The Champions: A history of the original WCW prime time special.   Kindle Edition

4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 11 ratings

Back in the late 1980s, prime time NWA wrestling throughout the week just wasn't an option. That changed on March 27, 1988 with the introduction of the Clash of the Champions. For nearly ten years, the NWA and later WCW produced 35 Clash of the Champions specials with some of the best matches the organization ever produced. In this book, I'll be breaking down every show match by match and segment by segment. I'll be including detailed analysis of every match and show while also looking at some of the trends and history over the course of the Clash's run.

This is a pretty cool recap of the Clash of the Champions shows that WCW produced several years ago! I agree with a previous reviewer of this book that my rating would have been higher if not for the typos in the book! It is though a pretty good book overall!

Decent accounting of the history of the NWA/WCW TV specials that aired on WTBS in the late 1980s-mid 1990s. Typos reduce the rating.

Loved this informative history of new/wcw clash especially the stories leading to each match and sometimes the fall out of matches
