Like an anchor wedged in the lake floor, Grace Stone's heart is submerged in the past. Drowning in guilt over the role she played in her father's and sister's deaths, Grace prays that launching her water survival program at Camp Moshe will properly honor their memory and enable her to move on. But success depends on Grace risking everything on the man hired to rebrand the Christian camp.Kye Campton's usual confidence wavers when his extreme sports campaign lands him in hot water with the cautious instructor and it becomes increasingly evident that Camp Moshe's fight for survival is against more than a declining economy. Will Kye be able to save the camp—and Grace—from a saboteur determined to close the camp at any cost?

Guilt has a way of overtaking our lives, especially when we blame ourself for something that happened. It has a way of either paralyzing us with fear or keeping us locked in a cycle we can not break free from at times.

Grace Stone has dreams and a desire to do something because of the tragic death of her father and sister in the past. Kye Campton just wants to complete his current job as acting camp director in order to move on to his next job.

Both have suffered in the past, but have to try and work past their guilt and hurt. These two characters are like water and oil. Yet both ultimately want to save the camp. The interactions between Kye and his mother as well as Grace and her family bring this story to life.

Add in a bear, some unexplained things that seem like accidents and the plot thickens. I could not put this book down. I wanted Grace and Kye to find their future together free of the pain of the past.

So check out this book for yourself.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from Celebrate Lit, this in no way influenced my review. All opinions are my own.

You were warned. This is your last chance to leave!

As an introduction to this author, this book certainly does not disappoint. Once started, it is impossible to set aside until the mystery of Camp Moshe is solved. Kye Campton, interim director, comes highly recommended. If you have a company that needs fixing, he will fix it or the future of that business is bleak. Here he is at Camp Moshe, with a head lifeguard that has a new program she wants to implement, staff who are related to the man that wants to buy the property and a camp board that is waiting to see if his ‘fix’ will put this concern back in the black financially.

What you have is someone or several folks who do not want this to succeed. The shenanigans start to become dangerous and people are getting hurt. Can Kye figure it out before someone is killed? If this book is any indication, I need to be on the lookout for more fabulous writing from this author!

I received this digital copy through White Rose Publishing, Pelican Ventures and CelebrateLit. My impressions and comments were in no way solicited.

I enjoyed this story for the mystery and romance that it offered. I could also relate to the camp setting, and the joys of being at the lake. I will say though, I didn't give it 5 stars because I found the end wrapped up too quickly. It was like the author wanted to finish, and so tied up all the loose ends. I finished it feeling let down, surprised that it was over already!

Christian youth camps, I've been to many. I've attended and later served in such camps. The cover and that premise drew me to this book. Grace has been through some major trama. She's easy to connect to and feel what she's been going through. Kye, he's working with Grace to save this camp, but he's more dark and mysterious in regards to his past. Some suspense, as well as expected romance, are included. The burning question is, why would anyone go this far to take down a Christian camp? That mystery drove me through the pages of this book in a race to solve who-done-it. By the end of the book, we can say in more ways than one, there but for the grace of God, go I. The older we get the more we see God's timing and His hand in things. This book expressed that well.

My thanks to Celebrate Lit for my copy of this book. This review is mine. A positive review was not required.

This book was excellent! I loved Grace and how she takes a terribly tragedy and has a heart to help others learn how to survive in the water. I haven't dealt with losing a loved one to drowning, but I have always wanted my children to know how to swim, to (hopefully) avoid drowning.
This is an excellent story of faith and healing, with some mystery and romance thrown in! I thought that the author did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life and I loved the twists and turns of the mystery! This is a wonderful, clean read to pick up and enjoy.
I received this book from Celebrate Lit. This is my honest review.

This book has it all; action, suspense and romance, but best of all it teaches that God works all things out in His time. It will keep you on the edge of your seat till the very end. You won't regret getting this book. I received this book as a gift and was not required to write a review. This is my honest opinion of this book and a book that has been added to my re-read list. It was that good.

Normally I would not read any book that is suspenseful in any way but this one held my interest from beginning to end. Very well written, not in the least bit scary (like I thought it might be). I would recommend this book to anyone and the author, excellent, excellent!
