A Wedding to Die For Kindle Edition

5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 3 ratings

The Talbotts are back again...

When Jeanine Talbott's dad remarries, the whole family comes together for a weekend of festivities—that is, until the wedding planner is murdered. This family, unfortunately, is no stranger to mystery or murder.

The Talbotts cooperate with the authorities and do a bit of their own sleuthing as well. Adding to the mystery is a cranky wilderness expert, a nosy ranger, and Daniel Boone.

Jeanine wanted her dad to have a wedding to die for, but not quite so literally.

If you are looking for a well-written mystery that is clean, well-paced, and focused around God, this is it! Even though the Talbots have been involved in some other books, there is just enough character detail to get you up to date. I also greatly appreciate how this author doesn’t rush the end- everything fits in the storyline and all the important details are wrapped up. There is also a bit of American history that just might tempt you to take a road trip! I look forward to more adventures with this author and the Talbots!

I have not read any other books by this author. This is a short one and moved along quickly. When Jeanine Talbott's dad remarries, the whole family gets together to celebrate. Things go well until the wedding planner is murdered. Now it is up to the family to pitch in and figure out what exactly happened and who is to blame, while cooperating with the authorities on the case. I can safely say Jeanine wanted a great wedding for her father but not one to die for. I enjoyed this book. It was rather short and sweet and interesting. I almost wish it had been longer. It is a good book to curl up with for afternoon’s pleasure, especially if mysteries are your interest. I received this from NetGalley to read and review.
