I am thankful my mother read to me, enabling me to read at age four. Life is as hard as it is pleasurable and I love to read stories about true-to-life characters. Hearts Across Time is a well-written and engaging time travel story. Plenty of mishap and mayhem ensues when Mandy finds herself in the 1890s. Although the author is mostly known for contemporary romances, she did a very good job of setting the reader in the time period. Peery's characters are endearing, especially Gavin. I'm a sucker for a handsome cowboy and Gavin will definitely leave you swooning. Gavin and Mandy must learn to trust God's perfect timing in this sweet romance that will give you all the feels.

Ms. Peery has knocked this time travel out of the park! What sweet love in the Nebraska farmlands. Mandy and Gavin’s story was so heartfelt and so realistic. The love two have for each other, God orchestras so well, and keeping faith in Him, these characters bring so much depth to God’s love and His timing. I was intrigued on every page. Like a princess story, this time travel was such a delight!

I’m always a fan of time travel stories and the books in the Hearts Across Time series are just a delight with Amanda going to the past in Cowboy Just in Time and Phoebe going to the future in Future of My Heart. An added twist is that when Amanda falls back in time and meets Gavin, she accidentally thwarts Phoebe’s expectations for a marriage to Gavin. These are sweet faith-based stories from Pelican Book Group’s White Rose imprint with an intriguing initial premise that leads to satisfying conclusions for the reader.
