Even fantasy parks find out there are always problems between management and working crews. I never thought that it could be the subject of a romance book however!
Author Kate Mosman has shown that discontent/management/work-crews can be a great setting for sweet romance!

A compelling plan for unionization, a new manager forced to toe the company line, wonderful characters and a believable fictional adventure park combine to create a story that makes you think. There's humor, conflict, and romantic attraction to keep your interest, and a lot of clever strategies as well. I happily read this book in one seating because of the unique combination of content made me want to see how it all resolves! It was a terrific book!

This story wasn’t really for me. I felt like it could have more potential but it was kinda flat.
I enjoyed Vanessa as a character but I knew who she was going to get with from the beginning. Thomas was kinda interesting and mysterious. I wish the romance was a little stronger in this though considering the title has the word romance in it!
I wasn’t sure how I felt about Dirk and I definitely didn’t like Mr. Destiny. Don’t expect any backstories with the characters besides Vanessa and the descriptions of the crew members were a little weird and could have used work also. Two Bobs but one is tall and one is short and one of them like yogurt?? Could the author just not decide on another name for one more character?
This story pretty much is just about the union and upper management doesn’t want anything to do with it. I wasn’t really expecting it to end the way it did but I also felt that the ending could be better with more details.
I feel like I definitely judged this book by its cover though and should have read the blurb a little better and maybe skipped this one? The cover is beautiful though!

The characters were cute. Not sure I loved the management is stupid and union is wonderful push. I enjoy improving my vocabulary but author loved using some fancy words most people don't use that I had to stop and look up. It didn't feel they were necessary.

Wow! This book was so refreshing to read. I did not want to put it down, nor did I want it to end. Great story line, one that I had never read before. Most books have the same old story, however this one was upbeat, fresh, entertaining, fun, and clean. I am looking forward to reading all of the books by my new favorite author, Kate Moseman!

As a book itself it was ok. Unique story line, decent plot, and I liked Vanessa, but I really didn’t connect to any of the characters. And to me there was really no romance, no spark, no…chemistry? It just didn’t fit into the whole thing. To me if felt forced. Overall it’s an ok book, but I had to rate it 2 stars because of the romance aspect just not being there.

Ms. Moseman gives us some good characters although their motivations are unclear. The story about the struggle between employees wanting to bring in a union and the management that only wants to bust the union was interesting and intriguing. The book was poorly named, however, as the book was not a romance. There was no flirting until the end of the book. I would expect a bit more interest between the two parties if this were a romance.

The author shows talent for writing. I’d prefer to see more depth to the characters as to their reasons behind their behavior, or even expanding to glimpse their life outside of the main setting. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

I went in expecting your typical sweet romance, but while this is definitely a sweet romance, it's not your typical sweet romance. It's romantic comedy, slow burn romance, and a bit of workplace suspense all wrapped up together. The characters are all a bit mysterious, and you never quite know who's going to do what until it comes down to the wire. You can't help but root for Vanessa and Thomas, though, who are intelligent, fundamentally good people placed in opposition to each other by the higher-ups. Their gentle flirtation warms the heart.

Vanessa is thrilled to get her dream job as a manager at Destiny Theme Park. She’s a little nervous the first day at her new job, but well prepared. Thomas is the employee assigned to introduce her to each of the different areas of the park and how they operate. Vanessa and Thomas both share an instant appeal for the other. Both keep these feelings under wraps, upper management and employee relationships are frowned on, I suppose. At any rate it’s a good policy. Vanessa is also unaware of the situation she has been dropped into accepting this new job. The Union is trying to entice the employees to join, and Vanessa, being upper management, has to side with her boss or lose her job. This creates a stressful, suspenseful, and intriguing conflict between Vanessa wanting the best outcome for her employees and still having to side with her employer. She has also been tasked to uncover who is organizing the ride operators.

On her mission she starts to spend as much time with Thomas as she can, while at work, to find out if he is promoting the union. All this time together starts heat to build in their relationship. I enjoyed the character development of the key players, even Dirk, the resident brown-noser. Vanessa tries to keep him busy trying to keep him out of and from causing trouble, which he is very good at. I liked Vanessa’s character, she is intelligent, down to earth, and astute. Thomas with his costume hats sitting at a rakish angle always made me smile. I loved his confidence and humor.

“Roller Coaster Romance” is different from other sweet romances I’ve read. I really enjoyed the smartly written plot, characters, and dialogue. This would be a great summer read.
