This is a novelette or short story. I really enjoyed it as a before bedtime read. Characters are good (except for the bad ones) and the story flows. Mr. B. Is obviously a special cat. Happy ending at Christmas time. Didn't see another in the series but the main character wants to open a business, she had a dishy neighbor and there is Mr. B. etc so it would appear a second book could move forward.

I loved the first adventure of Mr. Bigelow and Penelope! and I enjoyed the "point of view" changes throughout the book!

It's a fresh new look at mystery solving and I can't wait for the second book!
