About the author
Rabbi Shlomo and Rivka Slatkin founded The Marriage Restoration Project, a global initiative to help keep couples together and happy, after finding their own marriage falling apart over 23 years ago. After discovering Imago therapy, the Slatkins fell in love with the modality and with each other again after just one session!
Shlomo went on to become a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and an advanced clinician in Imago therapy, also becoming a certified Getting the Love You Want workshop presenter with his wife Rivka.
Together they lead marriage workshops quarterly in Baltimore and in Costa Rica several times throughout the year.
A gifted teacher who has lectured throughout the world, Shlomo Slatkin edited and co-authored the Jewish version of Couplehood as a Spiritual Path , a curriculum for synagogues based on Imago Relationship Therapy and Dr. Harville Hendrix’s Getting the Love You Want.
He is also the author of The Five Step Action Plan to a Happy & Healthy Marriage, as well as numerous published articles on relationships.
A graduate of Loyola College in Maryland, Shlomo Slatkin holds a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology, with additional psychotherapy training at the Imago Relationship Institute. He received his undergraduate training at the George Washington University and Oxford University and holds a B.A in Middle Eastern Studies. In addition, he studied in prestigious Rabbinical seminaries in Israel and the United States, culminating in ordination.
Shlomo Slatkin is a clinical member of the American Mental Health Counselors Association, Imago Relationships International, and the Mid-Atlantic Association of Imago Therapists.

Short and simple .I just ordered the workbook. I am reading it for the 2nd time to be sure it soaks in. Needless to say best 15 bucks I ever spent . Wish I had it before giving away Over 10 grand in therapy and marriage counseling!
Better late than never .
Its funny but I'm writing this review on my thirteenth wedding anniversary. I really was intrigued when R. Slatkin made the point that the basic foundation of marriage is commitment. I never thought about it, but I can see how true it is. Without total commitment how can there be total trust?
