David Edmundson-Bird is Principal Lecturer in Digital Marketing & Enterprise at Manchester Metropolitan University, where he is Subject Lead for Digital in the Business School.
David has had a variety of roles inside and outside academia, including helping to set up Manchester's second web design agency in 1995. At Manchester Met he led the development of the UK's first MSc in Digital Marketing in 2007 which continues to run. He has appeared on national TV, radio and the press numerous time and is a passionate advocate of the role of Digital in improving the life of people.
He is a trustee of The Educational Trust and on the Board of international arts organisation FutureEverything.
