Golden Goose Classic that lays proven strategies for financial success!
This excellent book provides traders with a dozen signposts with four proven strategies that minimize risk and maximizes profits. Rooted in the tradition of the Turtle School and Trend Following Bensdorp alleviates the fear factor and proves that one can make money in both Bear and Bull Markets. Bensdorp backs up his strategies by offering ongoing educational support (tradingmasteryschool.com) to anyone who dares to believe in their own success. This work compliments Michael Covel's "Trend Following" and Curtis Faith's "Way of the Turtle".

Great book for beginning investors! This is a highly readable, easy to understand book for those interested in making a living from investing. The author presents lots of great information, and makes it sound very easy to trade stocks based on his system, using a method that leaves emotions and ups and downs in the news out of it. You just need to set up your parameters based on your own individual circumstances and the formula will do the rest. I also like how the author suggests that you question financial advisors and analysts, as they get paid whether you win or lose. I think this is a great book for those who want to know more about investing.

Author Laurens Bensdorp, the founder and CEO of Trading Mastery School, shares his experience and knowledge about stock trading - his ‘automated, algorithm-driven trading platforms that combine psychology, technical analysis, statistics, and position-sizing principles to maximize profit and keep management time to virtually zero.’ In this easy to read and incorporate little book is all the information on how to understand the stock market (a first for many of us!) and benefit from Bensdorp’s valid instructions on how to ‘gain financial freedom without the obligations of a stressful job.’ His ideas focus on taking the business approach to investing, using the computer (with trading software) once a day to trade intelligently and systematically, and that reassuring message that there is no need to be stressed daily about the chaos and fragility of the stock market news. For both beginners in the trading world and frustrated stockbrokers, this book is an eye-opening, very valuable resource to pursue financial freedom - the business way!

For those who are unaware, a stock trader is a person or company that specializes in the buying and selling of bonds and stocks on behalf of investors in the financial market. A stock investor is another name for a stock trader. This person or company's objective is to make a profit from the short-term fluctuations in the price of stocks by engaging in stock trading within a short time frame in order to achieve this objective. There are also those who trade stocks with the intention of purchasing them and keeping them for a period of time ranging from a few months to several years. Depending on the objectives they wish to pursue, stock traders can either trade stocks full-time or trade stocks part-time.

There are only a handful of people who are truly successful in the world of trading, whether it be stocks, commodities, or foreign exchange. These people are successful year after year. Few are familiar with their identities, and even fewer are familiar with their game and its rules; nonetheless, it is the rules that distinguish them from others who fail. The majority of successful traders did not begin their careers in such a manner; however, a few of them did begin with a fairly good start and needed to re-adjust only a few things, much like Warren Buffet did; however, the majority of successful traders became successful by learning what works and what doesn't and by not giving up but rather by learning from their mistakes. Keeping in mind that making mistakes can result in a lot of wasted money.

If you are capable of trading stocks with complete self-assurance, then nearly nothing will be able to prevent you from achieving your financial goals and producing money. However, in order to accomplish this, you will first need to educate yourself on the subject, or at the very least, acquire tactics from stock trading approaches that have been demonstrated to be successful.

In Laurens Bensdorp's "The 30-Minute Stock Trader" the author walks you through each and every step necessary to develop your very own automated stock trading technique that is both tested and validated by using price action data from the past. In addition to that, he will demonstrate how to adapt the method to your own way of life. You only need to pay attention to what your computer tells you to do, and you won't ever have to pay attention to what the financial media has to say again.

Although I am not an expert in this sector, after reading this book it is quite evident that additional investment is required in order to obtain the full benefits, if any, that are alluded to in the book. Maybe it’s just me, but the Latin phrase ‘Caveat emptor’ springs to mind.

One of the best trading books I've ever read. And I'd read dozens of them.
The book is easy to read and very practical, the systems have clear rules and very detailed back test results. The psychology aspect is covered as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good book
Reviewed in India on December 26, 2017
I came across this book after reading many books on trading. I am just one year into trading and making typical rookie mistakes despite reading about them in the books. I have learnt that experience really drills the intellectual concept inside my brain.
This book made me realise that what I considered as discretionary trading is actually indiscipline. I don’t have clearly defined rules, although, I judge the trends, entry and exits based on my chart reading, fairly accurately. But I don’t enter on time or exit on time or miss the trade altogether. I think the approach suggested in the book would really help me in becoming consistent and more profitable. It’s the way that this message is delivered that got me. Have read similar things before but it didn’t actually sink in.
I think that if you are a beginner like me, then you would surely benefit a lot from reading this book.
