The author's writing style is clear and accessible, making complex concepts easily understandable for readers of all backgrounds. The book is well-organized, taking readers through a step-by-step journey that covers everything from setting up a brokerage account to executing trades and managing risk effectively.
One of the book's strengths lies in its emphasis on simplicity and stress-free trading. The author presents a trading system that focuses on minimal time commitment, allowing busy individuals to participate in the stock market without feeling overwhelmed. The 30-minute daily routine outlined in the book provides a structured approach, which can be easily integrated into one's daily schedule.
There are only a handful of people who are truly successful in the world of trading, whether it be stocks, commodities, or foreign exchange. These people are successful year after year. Few are familiar with their identities, and even fewer are familiar with their game and its rules; nonetheless, it is the rules that distinguish them from others who fail. The majority of successful traders did not begin their careers in such a manner; however, a few of them did begin with a fairly good start and needed to re-adjust only a few things, much like Warren Buffet did; however, the majority of successful traders became successful by learning what works and what doesn't and by not giving up but rather by learning from their mistakes. Keeping in mind that making mistakes can result in a lot of wasted money.
If you are capable of trading stocks with complete self-assurance, then nearly nothing will be able to prevent you from achieving your financial goals and producing money. However, in order to accomplish this, you will first need to educate yourself on the subject, or at the very least, acquire tactics from stock trading approaches that have been demonstrated to be successful.
In Laurens Bensdorp's "The 30-Minute Stock Trader" the author walks you through each and every step necessary to develop your very own automated stock trading technique that is both tested and validated by using price action data from the past. In addition to that, he will demonstrate how to adapt the method to your own way of life. You only need to pay attention to what your computer tells you to do, and you won't ever have to pay attention to what the financial media has to say again.
Although I am not an expert in this sector, after reading this book it is quite evident that additional investment is required in order to obtain the full benefits, if any, that are alluded to in the book. Maybe it’s just me, but the Latin phrase ‘Caveat emptor’ springs to mind.

The book is easy to read and very practical, the systems have clear rules and very detailed back test results. The psychology aspect is covered as well.
This book made me realise that what I considered as discretionary trading is actually indiscipline. I don’t have clearly defined rules, although, I judge the trends, entry and exits based on my chart reading, fairly accurately. But I don’t enter on time or exit on time or miss the trade altogether. I think the approach suggested in the book would really help me in becoming consistent and more profitable. It’s the way that this message is delivered that got me. Have read similar things before but it didn’t actually sink in.
I think that if you are a beginner like me, then you would surely benefit a lot from reading this book.
