I don’t read a lot of fiction, but when I saw the blogger, Bad Cat Chris’s Dad had written a mystery/thriller I was eager to read it. I was pleasantly surprised with the story of a man named Alex who agrees to help his father with an experiment only to wake up five years later looking like someone else. The story pulled me right in from the start and kept me interested and guessing all the way until the end. If you are looking for a fun summer read, then this is the book for you.

(This review was actually written by my husband, Leonard Gittleman.)
“Love comes from the heart and the heart never forgets”. Charles Huss has written one of the most intriguing Science Fiction whodunnit page turners I have ever had the pleasure
of attempting to solve. A noted neurologist creates a state of the art memory preservation machine to help retain fading memories of his wife diagnosed with early onset dementia.
Unfortunately she passes away before the machine is perfected. The neurologist continues his research and eventually requests the assistance of his son to test the machine. The memory recording experiment works to a large extent ,however the machine winds up with a ruthless businessman Army General and involves an evil plan that stretches to the President of the United States.
The reader never fully knows who anyone really is after memories are implanted in other characters brains. Huss articulates that we are more than physical manifestations, the essence of our existence is our memories.
I highly recommend this book. Don’t “forget” to order it.
