Two Complete Books!

Book Five, Pass It On:

Lucy and Serena must secretly share good things with others this week, and the two can't wait to spend a night on a luxury cruise ship. But at the back of Lucy's mind is a chain letter she received that promises good luck if she passes it on and bad luck if she doesn't. Is the chain letter a good thing to be shared with others? What will happen to them all if she doesn't pass it on?

Book Six, Change of Heart:

Lucy and Serena are off to camp! With athletic Lucy attending this year, Serena and the other girls from Avalon are confident their cabin will win the annual Golden Pig's Foot competition. But when they arrive at camp, Lucy is assigned to a different cabin—one full of strangers! Now Lucy doesn't know what to do about the competition. If she performs poorly so her friends can win, that would be unfair to her cabin mates—girls who are quickly becoming her friends, as well. And when Lucy accidentally discovers on camper's tightly held secret, she's forced to make a decision in which there are no safe choices.

Each of the two-book volumes in this exciting four-volume series for girls aged 8-12 includes fun, friends, family, gentle Christian faith, and a fast-paced read.

Nice book. Was a bit on the shorter side, but still a good read. In case you are wondering, the other books in the series are cool also. The thing that I most liked about this, was that the story was told from a Christian perspective. Also, Sandra Byrd managed to sound like a ten year old girl, not an adult. Sandra Byrd is definitely one of my favorite authors

Sandra Byrd, I love your books!
I highly recommend this book, and all of the Hidden Diary books for any girls. (or boys for that matter, I've loaned my hidden diary books to a boy, and he has enjoyed them almost as much as I have) More to the point, they are good, interesting, but clean fun.

It is a great book about two best friends that go to a camp mostly in the middle/end part. They found out a new secret. I liked that it was mostly all about two best friends. I don't think I disliked anything. I would recommend this wonderful book to two best friends that have adventures.

In the third volume of the Hidden Diary series, we find the Lucy and Serena still trying to follow the diary. As we have learned in the first two books of this series they have been combined from a eight book series to a 4 book with two stories in each volume. They teach girls such values dealing with fun , friends, family and faith.

The fifth book in the series is" Pass It On". As we recall the girls are following what Serena's grandmother and her friend did back when they wrote the diary , except now they have to adjust to the present time. This week they are to pass something on to a friend or someone. Like being a secret pal .When Lucy receives a chain letter and it assures her of good luck, she knows she needs to pass it on but after a trip on the Queen Mary with her mother and Serena and her mother she decides againsy it. Now will she have bad luck like the letter says or is it all a hoax? With a week of good and bad things happening to her, she soon learned to realize who is in control and luck , well maybe its good and maybe not. Will Lucy learn what it takes to do for to others? It's not as easy as one thinks it is

The sixth book "Change of Heart" finds the girls at Church camp. When Lucy found out about it her chance go came to late, the camp was full, that was till luck was on her side and they had a cancellation. Now she could be with all her friends and can she? When she found out about the Golden Pig's Foot competition they have between the different groups she knew she would excel at the diving, but she wasn't sure about the other, the rope climbing or the archery and just what was bunny handling? Now there is a problem, when she gets to camp she is not with her friends but in a strange cabin with new girls. This is going to blow the competition out of the water. Will she try to lose on purpose so Serena and her other friends will win, or will she try to win for the group she is with. Fast becoming friends with the new group she finds one that is holding on to secret. Can Lucy be the friend she needs? Will Lucy do the right thing during the competition? These are some hard major decisions for a 12 year old to have to make without destroying all friendships.

Once again Sandra has continued on with this series that I feel all girls will fall in love with. Even for girls that are not a Christian I feel this series will help lead them to the saving knowledge of Christ. Not only will it help them deal with family situations, but will also help them to develop friendships and to do the right thing. Great lesson s throughout the whole series.

Discover the power of friendship and sacrifices with "Change of Heart".I loved this book because it has friendship that is unspeakably strong while having fun and m mysteries that ties in the Christian faith. Lucy and Serena are put to the test when the diary deed requires them to change their hair style. But while Serena is thinking over that, Lucy discovers something way more important and nerve-racking than the beauty shop. Can she keep the secret? Would that mean letting her team down? Whatever the case may be, it God calls for Lucy to have a Change of Heart.
