***This New Adult book is intended for audiences over the age of 18 due to adult content**

Kit

Logan wants to know my name, but I can't tell him. I can't tell him anything. There are too many people looking for me. He's pretty persuasive, though, and he convinces me to go home with him so he can keep me safe from this harsh city where I find myself. It's not my home. It's his. He belongs. I don't.

Logan lives with four brothers in the inner city. Yet I've never felt more safe than I do when I'm with him. I want him. But he won't let me have a darn thing, aside from his friendship, unless I'm willing to tell him my secrets. But they're mine, and I can't share them. Not unless I want them to come and get me.

Logan

She catches my eye because she's so beautiful she takes my breath. But that's not all that I love about her. I love the way she smells. The way she smiles. The way she plays the guitar is unlike anything I have ever seen. She sleeps in my bed every night, and drives me crazy with her touch. But I can't take what she offers because I need all of her. I need for her to tell me her secrets. I need for her to trust me.

From the back of the book:

She’s locked up tight. But he might be the key.

Logan Reed is tall, tatted and tempting.
Kit’s a woman with a mean right hook and a secret.

Kit wants a tattoo, but Logan sees more than she intends to share in the drawing of the tat she wants. He sees her in ways no one ever has.

Logan’s not disabled; but he hasn’t spoken in eight years. He hasn’t needed to.
Until he meets Kit.

Logan doesn’t know everything about Kit. Kit doesn’t know anything about herself,
until she has to sacrifice all she ever wanted to save what’s most important to him.

Stop the Presses!!! Um, sorry I mean what your reading!!!

Once in while you come across and book and you read the synopsis and it hits you makes your pulse speed up. This was one of those books. What really caught my attention is that the male lead in the story is not only incredibly hot and smoking sexy and pierced but he is deaf. This is an amazing concept in a story, so different that I had to have it immediately. So why does a character being deaf excite me? Many years ago I had aspirations of going to college to become a teacher specializing in Deaf Education. Life took a bit of a turn for me and due to an ongoing illness I had to leave school. I learned so much about the deaf culture and I fell in love with it. The deaf are not handicapped, please look at them as people that just speak another language. That is how they want to be perceived. Oh and never stare at people having a conversation in sign language it is considered very rude unless you plan to join in. This amazing story starts off with love at first punch! Who knew that a bloody nose could make you fall in love? Logan and Kit (Emily) are the cutest couple, the story is fast paced and gives it all to you right away, the love is not long and drawn out, some would think it happened to quickly, but I am such a believer that when you know you just know. Emily has a few secrets of her own, and until she lets Logan in he will not have sex with her but the things that going on until it happens are sizzling. It kills Logan but he holds out which is hard for him since he was out typical tattooed man whore. There are so many facets of Logan; it is like discovering a shiny new diamond that the world has not seen before. Wait until you read all the amazing things this man does. Emily is bold and strong and so caring, she just melts your heart and you want to wrap her up like a doll and play with her everyday. Her selflessness is amazing in this story and will definitely have you tear up. Emily suffers from something as well, but I do not want to tell you about it because it is part of learning her story, and not known right of the bat. It has just as much importance to the story though and I did not want my readers to read back this review and think I did not feel it was as important. Tammy Falkner did an amazing job with this story; she uses the use of ASL American Sign Language and lip reading, which not all deaf people can do. The way she details how Logan can’t hear her unless she is looking at him. No detail is left out. I love how she used the use of vibration so he could hear the music or her laugh but touching with his hand. It is just so beautiful. I once went to a dance club for the deaf and let me tell you, bring earplugs because the music is so much louder than a regular club. This is a series and there is a book 2 and it is out now, it does end in a cliff but not an unhappy one. It does not matter because the second book is available now and I am going to start about 30 seconds after I finish this review. Guess What!!!! There is a third book that is about one of the other Reed Brothers; you are going to love them all. Go click this series now; it is not one you want to miss. I JUST LOVE IT!!!!

WTF?? First of all, let me say that I had no clue there were two versions of this book. I didn't read the note "From the Author" in the Amazon description.
SO... I started reading the Sexy version... yummy! Loved the story, yada yada yada.. will get to that part in a minute.. got all into it, says I'm at 50% and I'm STOKED, cause it just got good.. and BAM! it's over. I turned the page and it's the secend version.. Sexy-Lite!! WHAT?? Crap! Was a little disappointed, but that just means I need book 2! There is a book 2 right??

SO... I LOVED Tall, Tatted and Tempting! Logan is beautiful, sexy, tender, loving, tatted, and deaf!! I have not read a romance story where the hero had an imparement and I SO love him. He was strong and confident, but sensitive and vulnerable.
He would always touch her, he could feel the vibration in her throat when she'd make noises or speak, look at her face to face to read her lips and see her emotions!! UGH it was so intimate!
The writing was beautiful!

Kit (Emily) was hiding something, and I was thinking up the craziest scenarios. Probably because she said she "wasn't free" and after having reads several slave related books I thought "oh my gosh", did I miss that in the synopsis?? But she wasn't a slave, at least, not like that.
Kit was a very well rounded character. She was strong, talented, not a slut or a virgin, she clearly needed help but wasn't the usual damsel in distress. And I loved that she also had somewhat of a disability. The interactions between her and Haley were adorable and sweet.

Matt!! UGH! It brought tears to my eyes!!!!

There's SO much emotion in this book that I don't know if I can get it all out.
It was funny, sexy, sweet, sad, loving, etc etc etc!!
The brothers!!! Each one of them embodied all those things and each one should have a book of their own! I hope so and I can't wait!!

This really was a great little book. It made me laugh, it had me tearing up, Logan had me swooning... but I wanted more!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Logan and Kit's story is PHENOMENAL!!! Loved, loved, LOVED IT.

I just re-read the whole Reed Brother series again, when I realized I never wrote a review for the complete awesomeness of this series!!!! I'll keep it short and sweet because I know there must be 20 million reviews already telling you about the plot and how great of a read it is.

Logan and Kit's story is PHENOMENAL!!! Loved, loved, LOVED IT.
I. JUST. LOVE. LOGAN.
He is one of my TOP book boyfriends, I love that he's not the cliche wealthy business type hero, no - there was so much more to his character.
Kit will have you intrigued from the moment you are introduced to her.
Paul, Matt, Logan, Sam & Pete are the ULTIMATE BOOK BOYFRIENDS!!
Reading this series again a few years later was just as exciting as reading it for the first time. I'm a huge fan of the Reed Brothers. If you are reading this and contemplating giving it a try - do it. I know, there are quite a few books in this series, BUT the best part is that you can pick and choose which ones to read by which characters interest you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Der Weg der Worte
Reviewed in Germany on August 17, 2017

2.0 out of 5 stars not sure I want to finish this book
Reviewed in France on October 13, 2015
seeking solace after sadly finishing the beautiful Archer's Voice, I tried this and wanted to love it - but just really really don't. I don't know what bothers me - some reviewers complained about insta-love. i didn't mind that as much as i minded the insta-lust. I don't mind hot books usually, if it's done right. But i wasn't looking for that in this story, so i found myself cringing and skipping past all the near-intimate scenes - which thankfully didn't go too far in the beginning. Maybe they happen too soon, before I can even get a feel of the characters or like them even? I don't know, it just creeped me out, akin to witnessing PDA, I guess! I kept reading though because the author is not bad at all and kept my attention longer than other books I just know i'm not going to finish. Too bad, maybe I'll try her again someday, but this one, doesn't work for me.
