I really enjoyed this book. It was very well written, with a well thought out plot. Plenty of suspense & romance wrapped into one. I was very impressed the author didn't feel the need to add a lot of unnecessary foul language or sexually explicit content in order to create a solid storyline. It is able to pull you in and makes you become invested in the lives of the characters, as a good book should. I'm definitely going to check out the next in the series. Good job Ms. Hope!

Jenna is a nurse practitioner who specializes in pregnancies and helping those who have had losses during pregnancies. Desiree is a former patient who is unhappy because she has not been able to conceive since her miscarriage years ago.

This story is about revenge. I almost didn't finish reading the book. It wasn't my favorite read, but I managed to get though it. If you are into thrillers, you might enjoy this book.

Any book by Lauren Hope is always a great read to get. Hidden Shadows will make you want to read more of her books if you have not read any of her books before. You will be hooked reading and not want to put it down. I am not going tell you what it's about. I hate reviewing books and someone tells you the story. But Jennie in the story is one tough lady to go throught all the things she did. Trust me when I tell you a great read or not. How I know books are good or a great read is by reading a few pages. If I can just read with nothing making me stop reading it's a great book!

I have read plenty of mysteries/ suspense books in my day, but I have to say I've always felt A little tainted by them. The sex, the bad language, the over-the-top gore is just too much. Reading this book still gave me the mystery and suspense I long for, but with characters that have true and honest feelings and emotions that I felt right along with them as I read. I loved Jenna's fierce Love for her children, and would go to any length to protect them. This is a must read book that I truly loved.
