when you read a lot and wonder what a hundred year old vampire have in common with a 20 year old student

I read this for Smutty Book Club
We chose it after a discussion about why all these hundred year old vampires always go after this 20 year old women. It makes a lot more sense that they would have more in common with a proper grown-up or even a grandma.

This is a short book that was probably written quickly, so I gave the author a pass on typos and formatting issues. Although I honestly think some quotes are associated with the wrong people and things are quoted that should be internal dialogue.

As for the bike, it was lovely. Maria was tough and sweet. I don’t understand why she would stay with such a terrible ex husband. Alexander was wonderful. I liked how he stuck up for Maria and her friends. I wish I had a boyfriend like Alexander … or had a friend that dated him.

I think Alexander and his family might be terrible at security. It annoyed me how the Securty breaches were never explained.

The secondary characters were nice - especially Cain and Tara. I would love to read their story.

She really packed a lot of character development and action into this short story.

What a wonderful read! I agree, Grandmas need Loving too! What a great twist on both the romance and the Paranormal sides of this story. Maria is definitely a woman who deserves all the loving she can get, and Alexander is such the hot specimen. The twists in this story will absolutely keep you intrigued by the comings and goings, as well as keep you asking for more. Wonderful storyline, incredible characters that pull you into their lives. Terrific love story! Can’t wait to see what comes next!

It was a really good book. I really am hoping the author makes a series with this. I so enjoyed reading about a 50 year old heroine who wasn't perfect. I am heartily sick of 30+ year old men and 18 year old barbies getting together. So this was a TOTALLY refreshing change!!! :) I really liked the H/h. I thought they went well together and I enjoyed the world that the author created.
My only beef is that it was way too short. This was such a unique storyline and such compelling characters that I would have DEARLY...DEARLY...loved to have an actual book instead of a short novella. I really wanted to get to know Alex. I wanted to know more about his species. I wanted to know if Maria was eternally 50 or does she age back to look the same as Alex? I wanted to know how she was going to do as a vampire. I was kinda bummed that there was only one sex scene. How is her BFF? What happened to Trent? Lastly, who was Grangers? I was kind of confused.
But...despite all of my misgivings, I am so glad that I read it and I would recommend it to anyone because it is a fun read, with enjoyable characters. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the premises, and I want more...just longer please!

First thing that comes to mind is HOT! Trinity has the ability to draw you into this book from the start. Her male characters are bigger than life and twice as sexy. The women are real women who have the love of good men who love them faults and all. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a hot and sexy romance. Maria is a well rounded character who is real to life with a love for her family that is undeniable. She is a sexy older woman who learns that she is as deserving of love as any younger woman. Alexander makes her realize that even as an older woman who considers herself "heavy" she is truly sexy. Trinity makes you realize that YES, even Grandma's need good loving. I give this book 5 stars and would give more if I could. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!!!!!

Who could ever resist a good looking bad boy? Not a sexy as sin, Nana Maria! An amazing story by Trinity, but I wish it was longer..... At least, I know there will be a second book!
What I really enjoyed in this book, was the references to real time books, even if it was on a pnr universe!
Second element that I enjoyed was the way Maria was presented as a "survivor". Women that go through those kind of situations, have great difficulties into finding their spine!
Way to go Trinity!!!
