From the Author
Written first-person by the lead character, the narrative puts you in the shoes of teen orphan Justin Reed. Rebellious yet sincere, complex yet compelling, Justin is the adopted son of CIA Case Officer Bob Cheney.Full of more trademark action, humor, spy gadgets and nefarious evil-doers, Cartel Kidnapping picks up where Code Name: Dodger leaves off, as Justin tracks his kidnapped father to a secret drug cartel smuggling base in Mexico.I call it a Spy/Fly Thriller - a spy thriller, chock full of flying! So, fasten your seat belts, ladies and gentlemen. The ride's about to get rough!

That's right - Justin Reed is back and better than ever! Code Name Dodger Mission 2: Cartel Kidnapping picks up right where the first book left off. Justin's ingenuity and courage are put to the test like never before as he rushes to rescue his new dad from a gang of thugs bent on discovering the identity of the great Agent Dodger. Justin is pushed to his limits both physically and mentally as he is forced to confront some of his darkest fears. But even when things seem hopeless, Justin always finds a way to persevere. And just when you think you can't stand any more suspense, Justin's fate is placed into the hands of his greatest enemy in a twist you won't see coming.
This book is packed with non-stop action that is fun for young and old. You will NOT want to put it down! And as with any great story, it will leave you longing for more. Thank goodness a third installment is in the works!
While so many sequels are not as good as the first, this was not the case
I found “Code Name Dodger: Cartel Kidnapping” captivating, interesting and full of action. Once when you thought it could not have gotten more action filled, Eric did not disappoint in his details of the drug cartel, the actions from land, air and sea. While I will not spoil this action crazed book for you with all the details, I truly think you will find this novel enjoyable and interesting for both younger and older readers, you will also see a softer more mature side of Dodger as he grows up but it does make his life any less thrilling.
