In general, I liked the story. It kept me entertained and wanting to read more. The characters were likable for the most part and I was excited to read the second book. What I didn't like about it: The h was weak. For as much as she put up a fight against H, she gave in so easily to him on everything. It didn't feel like passion like it was something she had been fighting for so long as she just couldn't resist anymore. It was more like, the author was ready for them to have sex. Fingering herself in the restaurant? Some books do it good, but this one just didn't do it for me. It might have been how everything was so explicit all the time. I was tired of reading about it and wanted more storyline. As for H, he wasn't my favorite H, but it wasn't bad. Like I said, there were too many sex scenes and way too much dirty talk. It just got annoying. However, the storyline was good and now that I'm going on to book 2, I feel like I'll get into the good part of the story. Still deserves 4 stars as most of this is my personal feelings on the book and not bad writing or grammar errors.

As an avid reader of romantic fiction, I must say that Roxy Sloane's "The Seduction" has left a lasting impression on me. From the very first page, the story line grabbed my attention and had me hooked. The author's ability to weave together the perspectives of both main characters was impressive and brought a depth to the story that many romance novels lack.

But what really sets this book apart is the chemistry between the characters. Sloane has masterfully created an intense and electric connection between them that will leave readers breathless. This is further complemented by the author's ability to illustrate even the most intimate scenes in a tasteful way that still manages to paint a vivid picture in the reader's mind.

While cliffhangers are not always my preference, I found that in this case, it only heightened my anticipation for what comes next. Fortunately, since this is just the first in the series, readers can rest assured that their questions will be answered in the subsequent books.

Overall, I highly recommend "The Seduction" for anyone looking for a steamy, well-written romance novel that will leave you craving more from Roxy Sloane.

I really don’t like Vaughn. He’s very arrogant and selfish. He doesn’t really care about Keely at all. He just wants his revenge. He seems determined to get it by destroying Keely, even though he wants revenge against his father’s former business partner.
Keely is far too easily manipulated. It seems like all Vaughn has to do is look her way and she’s dripping for him. Have a spine girl!
The writing was decent. It flowed and kept my interest. I just wanted to slap Vaughn most of the time. Also this story is not the end of their story, so no happy ending. Not exactly a cliff hanger but no resolution either. Not sure if I’ll read more by this author.

I picked up this novella for free from another author that I follow. I expected a quick read of a teeth-clenching, trope abusing filled romance that I could blow through in an hour or so. What I did not expect was an engaging story about a tortured jerk of gigolo with a dark past and a woman way out of her element. Got to admit the sex scenes in this book are hot, but the sex portrayed may not be for everyone. There is a lot of romance in the story, but there is also enough suspense, and wonder to keep me interested. I expected the story to follow the usual romance story arc, but did not expect an almost noir detective and mystery story mixed with enough of "who dunnit" to keep me engaged. I definitely want to read the whole series as this book ends on a cliffhanger.

This is one of the first types of books I've read since 50 Shades. This story has lots of sex between the main characters Keely is an innocent before she meets Vaughn. I gave it 5 stars because it had great sex scenes and drama, intrigue and twists that kept you guessing. After I read the first book that was free I ordered the box set. That would be my only complaint to really enjoy the story you have to read all the books. My preference is still to read a story in one Book. But I recommend this author and these books. Enjoy!

I received The Seduction for free - 187 pages.. I was drawn in by the characters and somewhat by the plot. I was curious enough to purchase the 2nd book, The Bargain for $5.99 - 220 pages. There are 8 books in this series all at a price of $5.99, with the exception of the 1st which is free. The total number of pages in the books range from 135 - 228. These stories could easily be combined into less books.
Keely is, of course, mostly innocent and Vaughn suffers from emotional issues and is a seducer aka gigolo. The Seduction leaves you hanging at the end. The Bargain, 2nd book, is completing the Keely - Vaughn story and giving you any answers you need for the Ashcroft angle and his relation to Keely and Vaughn and how they fit in. The 2nd book is moving onto other characters, still related the first ones. That is when I stopped reading. I did not feel the story line would be enough, judging from the 1st and 2nd books, to warrant reading these expensive short stories. Just wasn't that good.

After reading the first one for free, I was keen to know what happens next to Keely and Vaughn so I purchased the entire set straightaway. At the end of the first book, I started formulating my own suspicions about Vaughn's connection to Ashcroft and I can say that the next few books in the series proved me wrong! It is this element of surprise that I really liked about this series. Kept me going from page 1. Although there were too many explicit sexual scenes in the series that I read in one sitting (yes, that was how enthralled I was), I skimmed through most to get to the very good bits. I understand why sex is a big part of the book as domination was the only way Vaughn could ever feel control and balance in his life. He felt it was the only way he could communicate with Keely. She was the willing and inexperienced subject who's only starting to explore her sexual fantasies. Vaughn has been the seducer for so long and the victor in all conquests so it tickled me when Keely towards the end turns the tables on him. The plot was truly interesting and unique and the many twists to the story were awesome. Both Keely and Vaughn wanted answers to questions about their past with Vaugh being the most obsessive one. For 20 years, he believed Ashcroft was the cause of his dad's suicide. Vaughn carries a lot of emotional baggage with him and Keely feels his disconnect but wants to get to know him better as she starts caring. There were so many elements in this series: deception, lies, attempted murder, murder, drugs, hostile takeover, blackmail, horrible bosses, and ex-lovers. The truth about how Vaugh and Keely were brought together is revealed at the end of series and it was not something I expected. This book exceeded my expectations.

I really enjoyed this story it kept me entranced and wondering where the plot would take me next.
This book also has a heat factor off the scale !! It has to be the best book I've read for just pure out of this world fantasy fiction. I've noticed a few reviews have said "this would never happen" but I say yeah that's why is called fiction. This is a total fantasy story and one that will get you wishing it could be reality. I think Roxy Sloane did an amazing job of not only packing in the out of the world sex scenes but blending the mystery and edge of your seat drama!!

Vaughan is a bad boy we all love to hate. He's The Seducer of women - for the right price! He's good at his job and always provides job satisfaction. In walks his next "job" Keeley that's when things get complicated. Vaughans target appears shy, meek and a total pushover - or is she? Revelations about both their pasts complicate their relationship further creating the question who holds the powers in this "relationship"?

A fab read to enjoy when you want to step away from the reality of the world for a while :)
