"Livi Michael’s lively historical novel
Succession portrays something of a female-centric vision of the Wars of the Roses. . . . Michael paints the Middle Ages in spare and elegant prose." —New York Times Book Review on Succession

All three books kept me excited though I know what happened and showing the sides of multiple people throughout rather than focusing on one or two characters, truly entertaining

I would recommend this trilogy to anyone. First of all it is three great novels that keep the reader on edge, no matter how familiar they are with the history of the events depicted. Combined throughout with the actual chronicles of the time, it all makes for an amazingly insightful, and enjoyable, experience.

Another fabulous book by one of my favourite authors. As a fan of historical novels this is a story I am already very familiar with but Livi Michael offers a different perspective and her writing throws you in amongst the action bringing the medieval world alive in a way on she can. If you enjoy historical books and appreciate good writing then I can heartedly recommend it.
