Amor em primeiro lugar é uma obra que traz uma importante reflexão sobre família e sobre arrependimentos do passado, tem um bom elenco de personagens com os quais você como leitor se importa, mas eu lamento que a reta final desse livro não tenha me empolgado como em outros livros da Emily, por exemplo, Questões do coração outra obra da autora tem um final mais empolgante, mesmo assim ela entrega um final digno para os personagens amarrando as pontas soltas que haviam desde o início do livro.
