Really enjoyed every page. It was hard to put down. The characters were really great and for a change it was the Earth people who were the big heroes. It was dramatic, funny, sexy without going overboard. Can't wait for the next book in the series. It was well thought of and easy to read. There were twists and unexpected turns. You will not be sorry to buy it. It's an excellent keeper. I may go back and buy the first book since this one there were no cut and paste. I imagine it's Josh's story, if it's anything like this one it should be enjoyable to read.

I enjoy this storyline a lot the only downside is waiting between books for the next one! Otherwise, Ms. Smith never disappoints in terms of story, character building and tying details together. I like the world building in this series and really look forward to reading the next several books (assuredly to come as we have more pods to find!). Hurry the characters in the remaining pods are running out of oxygen!

S E Smith, you have outdone yourself with this book! I am not even going to mind having to buy this series. Which from our previous correspondence, you know I really don't like to do. This book has several different levels to the story. Without giving too much away, there is the story of our hero trying to find his buddies, the story of surviving on a new world, the bad guys and then the really bad guys, and lastly, the story of the Knights.
Enough said bout the story. The characters were well developed and believable. I enjoyed every minute of it.
So, grab it and settle down to enjoy it and wait for the next book.

This is another wonderful series by S. E. Smith. I hate that it takes so long for each one but I do understand that she needs to sleep and eat but really!?! LOL. And apparently her husband likes to see her every once in a while so I guess I'll just have to wait.
The characters she writes draw you in and you feel like you are meeting old friends. I love everything she has written and I truly can't wait for anything she has to share.

This one was extra special because as much as Tallei tried to beat it out of Kella, she still had the capacity to love, to care, even if she didn't even know what it was, having never known it. I love this series so much. My only complaint is that its so long between books. My memory isn't what it used to be, so I find myself kind of lost at first. But, I can't wait till Book 3!!!

First Josh, now Ash. Josh, Ash and three other humans were part of a space exploratory mission to an artefact in space that was so ginormous that it was picked up by a space telescope.
None of the crew members expected to survive but they dismissed this from their thoughts as they concentrated on the mission. When they reached the artefact they discovered that it was damaged. Their engineer managed to repair it upon which it activated. Although they thought that their ship was far enough away to be safe that turned out not to be the case! As the ship was pulled through the now active gateway it started to break up. They all managed to get into (or be put into) escape pods which were then all dispersed onto different vectors. Josh landed on Tesla Terra where he met Cassa. Ash lands on a different planet, Torrian, where he runs into trouble straight away. First it is the heat and then because somebody in power knows of the pods and is looking for them and their contents. In fact learning that tells him that at least one other member of the team might still be alive. Soon he finds himself with some unlikely allies and in a race to find the missing team members, two of whom are women.
Once again Susan Smith has outdone herself!
Would be enjoyed by sci-fi lovers of all ages.
