On page 47. Author Humaira Malik portrays the wrong account of events that led to battle of Badr. I have taken picture of this page as evidence. I have read two biographies of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) . Martin Lings and Safi Ur Rehman Mubarak Puri's famous "Ar-Raheeq Al-Makhtum." She depicts wrongly that Meccans became angry with muslims because the message was spreading and they immigrated to Medina so Meccans decided to attack Medina. Infact , this is not true. After immigrating to Medina, muslims were raiding Meccan trade caravans to avenge the humiliation and atrocities suffered by them when they were in Mecca. Abu Sufyan ( non-muslim at that time) was leading a 2500 camel caravan from Roman Syria to Mecca . He was fearful that muslims would raid his caravan of goods so he notified Meccans to prepare an army to fend off the anticipated attack by muslims of Medina. This was not a defensive war as what this author portrays. I had to stop at this page as this breached my trust in the author.

This is the best book with Islamic content for children that I have found in Arabic or English. I'm really surprised that a few of the negative reviews criticize the language as it's very natural (obviously an English composition) and the sentences are very clear and concise, easily accessible for young readers. I think children from fourth or fifth grade and up who are strong readers can self-read it while younger children can comprehend it with a little explanation. Each story is about a page and a half so even children with short attention spans can sit through it. It's also nice that each story has about three review questions to engage the children. Our family has enjoyed this book so much, I highly recommend it for others.

I was not thinking this book would be very informative, but I was wrong! It was very informative and enlightening. Through the years I have read books on the life of our Prophet Muhammad sa and intrigued in his life and legacy, this book further educated me. I am reading this book for Ramadan 2022 and I am thankful and grateful to Prophet Muhammad sa for his beliefs, teaching the revelation of the Holy Qur'an that Muslims around the world would be able to read the words given to him by Allah (swt). Jazakallah Khairan for this book!

This is an amazing book! I am not Muslim but my husband is and after each ftor during Ramadan we read a chapter out loud as a family. All of us in the family enjoy the stories. I am learning a lot, my husband enjoys the stories and my 5 year old colors as I read them and follows along halfway ...I plan to keep reading them to her as she grows up since I want her to have exposure to her dad’s religion since we don’t go to the mosque on a regular basis. They are great stories to grow up with and especially hear each year as we celebrate Ramadan.

Wow ! I did not expect this book to be so thorough yet still so much fun for the kids (5 and 7 year old boys). We read 1 chapter every night and did questions and my kids loved learning about the life of the Holy prophet PBUH ! We were able to do 2-3 chapters some night as kids did not wanna stop reading. What a great book. MashAllah 💕 I will be sharing it with friends and family as well !

I started reading this book out loud to my 8 & 6 year old tonight. It's so well written, the first question from my kids was: is this a true story? It's written in a way that is easy for them to understand. I can tell the children were engaged in the book from the questions that followed - they were factual...what was prophet Mohammad's grandfather's name? Are they talking about Abraham Lincoln? (No a prophet) what is a prophet? - all these answers I have been over with my kids before, it seems this format of story telling is sticking in their heads, they are asking the right questions to make me believe they are comprehending what they are hearing. I noticed that this is the first book in a series called Ramadan classics - I'm looking forward to future books and hope there are new short stories to read every year.

Originally upon purchasing this book I thought it would be like most other books based on Prophet Muhammad SAW. However, I have to say I was wrong, it is written very well, explains Prophet Muhammad SAW background and upbringing in such a manner that children even below 5 would be able to understand. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that there is a special EID chapter and discussion questions for kids and families. I hope that this author intends to write more books!

On an even more personal note, I have learned more about the angel Gabriel and how he was initially introduced to Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Must buy for parents!!!

Perfect for someone like me - a lifelong Christian who knew little about Islam. It's a great introduction to the religion.

I bought this book to learn more about Prophet Muhammad a bit more and sometimes I got completely lost coz the story was jumping from a specific moment to another without explanation. One positive point is that lots of words have meaning next to them so that, at the same time you read, you learn new English vocabulary. Therefore, in general, I like it!

Easy read, yet very nice composition. As an adult, I also enjoyed reading it myself. A must buy to introduce your kids to the basic Islamic history.
