But, here’s the issue he loves his country and wants nothing more than to serve his people like he’s always planned to do. He’s stuck so when American Lola comes barreling into his peaceful afternoon demanding entrance to swim at a public park Garrett finds himself intrigued.

These two are going to head down an emotional rollercoaster ride together.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Garrett stole my heart. PTSD had him in its throes and he couldn’t see his way out. He wanted to but was taught to be controlled and to compartmentalize, which is what he did. It took its toll on his strength and resolve.

Lola was the light and energy to his sense of being lost and angry and in pain. He latched onto her and she brought him some peace. But healing comes from within and he has no idea what will make that happen.

Sadly, nothing he could have predicted. Nothing Lola or Kian could have predicted finally led to that healing. It’s like starting at ground zero and building yourself back up again. The support is there. Grab hold and keep on fighting.

Garrett’s story really spoke to me. No one should have to endure what he did. No one should have that terror held over their head, much less a family member. Everyone needs support and love. Sometimes you just have to let go and then grab that lifeline for all it’s worth.

Wonderful conclusion to the Royal Duet.

Garrett is an ex Crown Prince, basically a man without a country or a family. He's been kidnapped and rescued but according to his father, the King, and those in the know he's at least been brainwashed if not compromised. So now he's been "put out to pasture," living a life of decadence, debauchery and leisure and hating every minute of it. That is until he meets Lola Barnes, a sassy, feisty, small package of dynamite who blows his socks off. A passionate kiss ends up on the front pages causing chaos in Lola's life. A fairytale romance between Gorgeous Garrett and an American entrepreneur has captured the pbluc's attention. Deciding to use the story to both their advantages, after all there's no such thing as bad press, they run with it. Their fake relationship quickly turns real but living under a microscope is a nightmare. The King continues his manipulations until Garrett reaches a breaking point. He finally erupts and vents all the rage he's crammed down deep inside of him after Lola walks away because she believes Garrett will never be king as long as they're together. Fortunately she realizes she can't walk away for good, she loves him too much. In the end Crown Prince Charming ' Gorgeous Garrett" gives Lola the perfect HEA....he makes her his queen.
