Editorial Reviews

Review

Before We Say, I Do is a practical, engaging, and user-friendly handbook for not only the "before's," but also for the maritally seasoned who are looking to tune up and "turn up" their relationship. With many transparent and funny examples from her own marriage, the book is seasoned with both real-life stories and clear-cut biblical guidelines. The author minces no words in her characteristic "tell it like it is" manner, which is actually disarming and relatable to the reader.

I would recommend this for church marriage groups, marriage retreats and as a supplement to pre-marital counseling sessions. One can only come away feeling better equipped for the lifelong journey of partnership after reading this. Colleen Aitken

Welcome! My name is Teri M. Bethel, and I live in The Bahamas. I'm an author, ghostwriter, publisher, textile artist, and virtual instructor for designing handbags and making purses. I used to believe I didn't have much potential because of the negative comments I received, but I decided to break free from those limiting beliefs. Now, I enjoy writing books, helping others write their stories, and sharing my secrets for making purses and painting.

While on my journey, I discovered that writing became my friend. It allowed me to express myself freely and grow. When I started writing books, my world changed. Instead of hearing negative comments like "you'll never...", people started saying "you did?"

I soon realized the importance of creating books that inspires and motivates people. I have written various types of content, which includes relationship advice, children's storybooks, inspirational novels, and how-to books. My aim is to create works that promote positivity and uplift people instead of bringing them down.

If you enjoyed reading my books and they impacted you, I would be grateful if you could take a moment to share your thoughts about them through an honest review. Your feedback not only helps me improve my writing but also helps other readers discover the beauty that lies within the pages. Thank you for your incredible support on this literary journey.

Thank you for being a part of this adventure with me.

BOOKS: Poetry, Children's Adventure & Picture Books, Island Romance, Pre-Marital Preparation, Marriage Enrichment, Supernatural, Textured Painting & Purse Resource.
