#1 Bestselling Time Travel Series “If you have ever wanted to take an adventure through time, this would be the one to take! Loved every single moment of these books and did not want them to end!” Bewitch Me Romance

A once forgotten legend...

Katherine Nicole Jamison never imagined when she took a job at a prestigious auction house for the summer, that one moment of impulsiveness could change her life forever. When she "borrows" an ancient amulet, she inadvertently sets in motion a series of events, which results in her waking up in 18th century England, betrothed to an arrogant, self-centered Earl.

Sebastian de Winter ~ The Earl of Ravenhurst, is a renowned womanizer who always prided himself as being a ladies man, until he is left standing at the altar. His betrothed Marguerite vanishes and as if by magic reappears months later. But is she his betrothed?

Ravenhurst ~ locked somewhere within the gloomy confines of this ancient edifice is the key that will unlock the door of time itself.

I received This book free in trade for my honest review. This book had me hooked from the very beginning. There is no sex. Just a good story. I did feel that if the H and the h had just communicated a bit more things would have been different. But then that's what gave the it's story.

Well, I thought at first I had already read this book. However, the further into the book, it was apparent I had not. I could not put the book down. I read it in one day.The intricate storylines weaving through time kept me riveted. Some of the intimate relational areas, I could have done without. This was due to me not believing people actually acted as the characters did in the time they were in. I do suspect it kept many readers riveted. The story through time at some points were difficult to follow. So, when in doubt I kept on reading. If you like time travel, magic, passion, sex, and a mystery then this is the book for you.

So, I got this book because it was free and didn't have reviews and I was curious--but I'm wary of bodice-rippers and cliffhangers (which are usually outed in their reviews), so I did some digging. Here's what I found, so you don't have to look; a link to the same book with reviews:
https://www.amazon.com/FORGOTTEN-TIME-Time-Travel-Romance-ebook/dp/B00A44SRO8/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8#customerReviews
The one in the link is about 50 pages longer (so it's been well-edited probably!), and its listed publication is in 2014, BUT it's also titled "New Lengthened 2018 edition"; there are *five* different editions on Amazon from back to 2013, with reviews back to 2012 (? How? Not ARC!... Time travel). And only two of them show the reviews. This book looks like it's had a wild editing ride.
Several reviewers (spanning the whole 6 years) also mentioned--ta da!--graphic sex, and ending on a cliffhanger!
Since this edition didn't market anything about being cleaner or more resolved, and those are deal-breakers for me, I'm going to pre-DNF and leave what I found under as neutral a review as possible, in case other people share my issues.

I love time travel stories and this one was very good. I will definitely read more by this author. Some parts were hard to keep up with jumping from time to time. I am not sure that was necessary but I finished the book and enjoyed it.

Found this to be an enjoyable book. There were a few times I thought, "What? Why did they throw this chapter in here?" But I endeavored to persevere and was glad, even though these chapters were not fully explained, although honestly, I might have missed the explanation. It reminded me a lot of Dark Shadows, going back and forth through the ages. Occasionally I wanted to slug a few of the characters but that isn't uncommon for me when reading this type of book. Plus I enjoy a not so perfect character and found myself enjoying all the side stories. This was a free book but I enjoyed it enough to buy the next one in the series.

Katherine was invited to Ravenhurst castle for a masquerade ball. While waiting for her coworker to come back, a strange man comes in with a necklace, and tells her a tale about it.
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2021
This book was a train wreck! The worst time travel book I have ever read. The "curse" is always eluded to but never made clear. Katherine's job in the past is to fix something but she never finds out what. She is given clues but after she reads them nothing is said about them again. She doesnt think about the clues or ask for help. Everyone has a multitude of secrets that dont help the plot along or explain anything with relevance. My mind is literally blown that that this book claimed to be on the lines of Outlander. Even the characters are unlikable and unrelatable. Sebastian is a first class dick. He always thinks about his prowess and the multitudes of women hes been with but has a freak out when he thinks Katherine isnt a virgin. Omg Katherine is always meek looking down at the floor and there isnt a shread of chemistry or connection between the two. Sex isnt chemistry. If you want to read a book that leaves you with more questions then the book answers this is it. Absolutely nothing is wrapped up. The man behind the armoire isnt explained. Katherine's use of the necklace isnt explained. Mericks deal with Merlin is vague. Grrr so frustrating. I will never read another book by this author again. Save yourself a headache and read literally anything else. Negative 5 stars

A very good COVID “stuck at home” read.
I usually read at night to settle down for bed.
With this story I found myself reading day and evening! Hard to put down. Suspenseful and entertaining. I want the next book!

This was the most confusing book I have ever read. Too many character and far too much going back in time. France, England, America, Ancient Britain. I could also not see any connection between the two main protaganists. And far too much narrative and not enough dialogue and Katherine was a insipid character. Won't bother with the rest of the series.

I went into this book with high hopes being a fan of time travel books. However, I didn't get far into the book before I suspected this wasn't going to be as good as I had hoped. Characters popping up all over with no explanation of who they were, no depth to the story and the death knell sounded when it was mentioned that they were visiting a castle in America dating back to Arthurian times. I mean, really?
Didn't finish it, I couldn't carry on.
