***Welcome to Boston, where all your nightmares come to life… To the tune of a Christmas jingle.***

PREORDER NOW AT A DISCOUNTED PRICE! FIRST 4 BOOKS IN THE SERIES RELEASING BY JULY 10, 2018!

Quinn MacKenna learns that the cure for a blinding hangover is simple…

Stay in bed, and whatever you do, don’t answer your freaking door.

Otherwise, you might find yourself roped into a murder investigation with a psychopath attempting to rewrite the Twelve Days of Christmas as a holiday homicide special, asked to rescue a former international spy, forced to dodge bullets with a Valkyrie, or to take on a power-hungry Fae intent on freezing everything he touches.

Hypothetically speaking.

In hindsight, snorting crushed aspirin in a dingy alley would have been the wiser choice…

Especially when Quinn learns the only way to find the answers she seeks is by... sampling some magically-infused, hallucinogenic flowers. And that someone is waiting for her on the other side of her out-of-body experience.

And they've been waiting a very long time...

Welcome the newest antihero in the Worldwide Bestselling Temple Verse by Shayne Silvers. Join Cameron O’Connell and Shayne at the literary bar to sip a dirty cocktail of feisty Irish brogue – with an unhealthy splash of monsters – TODAY!

I can’t think of anything I dislike about this book. It is action packed and Quinn is sexy and snarky. Did I mention she is a badass in her own right? Well she is.
Can’t wait to read the next book!

I absolutely love this person and the world with which she surrounds herself. That world was a very small and isolated one aside from business associates. However, since dipping a toe into the world of " Nate Temple and Associates ", the number of both friends and enemies she has accrued is growing at a staggering rate! With regulars being murdered across the country by a supernatural being as well as her friends being kidnapped, Quinn has no choice but to step in and attempt to help law enforcement.... including a newly formed unit of the FBI formed to deal with supernatural beings, all unofficially, of course. As with all if Shane's books ( with a nod to Cameron for adding a large dash of spice to the mix! ), the action and snark is nonstop with never a dull moment. This series continues to be a great read and the small overlap into Templeverse may keep me content until Nate's next book comes out! I continue to be amazed how Shayne can build worlds and characters that are so real and engaging while being totally wild! No pun intended! Shayne Silvers, you are the best and Cameron O' Connell, you did a superb job! Congrats on a great and totally enjoyable read! Now, on to the next in the series!

So are we making the new adjective "Camerific" or "O'Conellicious"?

The third foray into Quinn Mackenna's more dubiously principled life and world-sphere draws us deeper into things on the more far-flung end of the Templeverse where apocalyptic events are not in fact a regular Tuesday occurrence, and shows us how flabbergastingly convoluted the life and times of Nate Temple can look from a fresh outside perspective, even one that starts this entry fighting off a hangover from a Vegas bender with both his ex and somewhat precipitously assumed current girlfriend.

While I'm sure Silvers and O'Connell are laughing maniacally over the groans of their readers now having to wait to hear about that particular story, I'm more of the mind at how efficiently they're managing to juggle the likely well needed prodding to the hero-ego of Nate Temple along with the unfolding revelations that Quinn Mackenna may not in fact be just another obscure but low sitting Fae offspring on the universal roster, but yet another conveniently misplaced child of destiny on the cusp of inheriting or being forced into a role, powers, and responsibilities that should not be in the hands of someone so reliant on hard liquor to get her mental gears in working order. My money is at the moment on something to do with the Morrigan, because where most authors look at subtle foreshadowing as a carefully used scalpel, Silvers looks at like a nail-gun hooked up to an industrial sized air compression tank and a dubiously constructed feed-belt magazine cobbled into the clip.

The ride is a bit more wild to say the least, and Silvers is of no lost sleep at letting O'Connell run amok in his sandbox, clashing headlong into the longer-standing plot threads between other characters and even seeding and weaving a few new ones of his own into the jumbled mess along the way and he's shown he isn't afraid to drop a few status quo changes the way most authors would pepper in a meal scene or a discussion while driving.

All in all, I can tell that there are no plans to let the series be something small and unremarkable in comparison to the other series in the Templeverse, and as ever I look forward to what comes along next.

Yep, another winning novel in the awesome Templeverse series! Trust Shayne to find a co-author just as witty, creative, and nuts! Oh, and a hell of a story it is: got the characters you love, amazingly well written action scenes, magic, humor, what more can I ask for in a novel!

The action and the sass are pretty much non-stop in this latest adventure in the Templeverse.

Ever have one of those days, like at work, where you start to work on some project, and then there’s an emergency, so you have to stop what you were doing to work on the emergency, and then a worse emergency comes up that you have to take care of before the first one is solved, and so on until you are nested five or six levels deep in emergencies? Well, that’s sort of the situation Quinn MacKenna faces in Old Fashioned.

Quinn gets called out ‘way too early in the morning to help the FBI solve a bunch of murders that appear to have been committed by Jack the Ripper. She’s barely started on that before she finds out that her friend, the bar owner Christoff, has disappeared. In the process of trying to sort out all this, she goes on a sort of vision quest where she meets a being who may or may not be her mother and finally visits the Faerie Chancery.

Quinn McKenna is asked by the FBI to assist then in a bizarre case, one which mimics that of Jack the Ripper. When the Chancery gets involved, she meets the Green Knight and Morgause (also known as Morganna LeFay.). She also meets Jack Frost and that's when things start to get interesting.
Shayne Silvers and Cameron O'Connell have given us the next installment in the The phantom Queen Diaries and have given us one more legend in the Templeverse. Believe me, you'll want to read the Nathin Temple series as well as the Feathers and Fire series.

My problem with this book is that the MC suddenly became a scatterbrained reactive person, with a different personality. She ignores or fails to put together obvious clues, she is suddenly pretty dumb, and the whole plot seems rushed . Still it's a pretty good book with plenty of action.

Best of the three so far, story comes together and flows really nicely meaning that the book is one you dont want tp put down.

Quinn plays detective and teams up with the fbi. characters are really well rounded and more is revealed about who Quinn really is, but in the great tradition of the templeverse you are left with more questions and wanting the next book to find the answers

Third book in the series. Quinn learns not only that she, and Boston itself, are small specks in the landscape that is the Freak community across Earth and dimensions. Even her Boston acquaintances are more then seem. And the stories from her youth, like Arthurian legends and Jack Frost, aren’t the myths she presumed they were. And her usual snarky, sarcastic nature wins her some enemies as she attempts to ensure a Freak serial killer being chased across country by a division of the FBI staffed by Freaks who realise that, despite how much it hurts their sensibilities, sometimes mortal justice isn’t capable of dealing with Freaks who break mortal law or bring human attention to magic

I don't so much mind that things are left unfinished as this means at least one possibly more books are coming, at least this time I don't have to wait for that book. Hopefully "Dark and Stormy." Phantom Queen Diaries book 4 will provide some of the answers. Quinn wouldn't want to leave 't'ings' as they are, she is a firm believer that families should not be separated.

another fantastic book from both Shayne Silvers and Cameron O’Connell, never a dull moment, always on the move with plenty of plot twists that will keep you on your toes....a good read on its own but so much better if you buy into the whole series, you will not be disappointed as you get dragged into Nate Temple’s universe.
