I recently found this author and am I ever happy about that. This is only my second book but this is one very talented author. Kit graduated from college and works with numbers at an office doing financial work. Her father recently died of cancer. Her mom had died when she was young. This left her to raise her 15 year old brother Jack who had been allowed to run wild by her dad. Jack was doing poorly in school ,getting into trouble, and very disrespectful. His friends had been going to a fighting gym and Kit heard the boys discussing it. She decided maybe Jack should try it but money is tight. He volunteered to work the cost off by helping at the gym.
Bobby Kincaid is a famous prize fighter who has been very successful. He is part owner of a fighting gym with his 3 brothers. Bobby had met Kit 3 weeks prior at the club her best friend bartends at. They hit it off. They had talked for hours, danced, and kissed but they were interrupted by Jack and his friends misbehaving. Bobby never got her number but is thrilled to have her info now. This story is heartwarming, sexy,with awesome characters with such a close family feeling. There is love,hatred, danger, jealousy, and much more. On to the next book.

This is my second time reading Finding Home by Emilia Finn and it hit me just as hard as it did the first time I read it. This book gives me literal chills. Bobby and Kit are everything.When we first meet Kit, she’s struggling to believe in the badass that she is. She is my soul sister in a way that makes me want to take on the world and show it just how much of a badass I am. Add in Bobby, and it’s everything. Bobby isn’t just an alpha male, he isn’t just a hero in the novel. He builds her up in a way that speaks so many volumes. He refuses to let her think badly about herself. He tells her she’s a badass and she is.This isn’t just a novel about fighting, in a literal sense. Yea, it’s about a MMA fighter and his girl, who also fights, and their brothers who also fight. But its more than that. Its their story, their romance, their fight, their strength. They are everything and when they are together, it’s BREATHTAKING!The romance in this book is HOT. Like make you want to put the book down, find the man in your life and just… yea. But it is so much more than that. The way Emilia is able to encapsulate the romance and the value of the book has me mesmerized. The ties that bring all of the characters together is awe-inspiring and makes me wish I had a crew like they do at the Rollin’ On Gym.There’s such intensity in this book that you won’t want to stop reading. You will have to keep turning the page and wanting to know what happens. YOU HAVE TO KNOW! And it delivers in a way that will have you smiling, laughing, crying, swearing and every other emotional response you can come up with.We all know I am into details when it comes to books. And let me tell you, Emilia DELIVERS on her details. I can picture the entirety of the book in my head as though I am watching a movie. I am laughing and crying with the characters. I am experiencing all of the emotions with them. I am there, in those moments, feeling everything. That is what makes a book worth the read to me. The ability to FEEL it all as though I am RIGHT THERE.If you haven’t yet read this series, I highly suggest it. It takes you on an unforgettable ride that you won’t want to stop reading. This series will definitely be on my bookshelf when I get my library built.
