A single mother of four, Jacqueline is also a musician. She resides in a small town outside of Pittsburgh with her family. Of all her accomplishments, Jacqueline is most proud of being a grandmother. Her grandchildren reside with her and are the light of her life.

Jacqueline Druga's stories are always told well, engrossing and well thought out. And they always leave me wanting more.

This seems like it should be the beginning of a series, but I know it's not.

All the plotlines that were introduced were tied off, mostly - some better than others - but there's lots of room to develop the story further.

There are some typos and evidence of lackluster editing throughout, and they are numerous enough to break the readers immersion, but it's not absolutely terrible.

Overall, a 4. Better editing and a longer story would've gotten a 5.

It is a true disaster book and it doesn't stop at one catastrophe there are countless devastating events everywhere. It's a simple story that hooked me from the beginning and I was disappointed when I finished it. The main characters CJ, with his son Carter and his dad Guy along with Mindy, are the best I absolutely adored them. I totally recommend reading it.

Well told if a bit confusing separating similar names, my issue. A good read but these stories are becoming formulaic. Disaster followed by following a family who are separated and it’s their journey. The devastation and recovery seem to be secondary. I feel it is too limited but worth the read.
