I absolutely loved If It’s Only Love by Lexi Ryan, the sixth book in The Boys of Jackson Harbor. I have read other books by Lexi Ryan and have always thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I absolutely loved this book. I loved the characters and the Michigan setting. I could not put it down and I loved every page. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better and I have truly loved each book. I truly believe that If It's Only Love is my favorite book in the series. Lexi Ryan has once again provided her readers with amazing characters. I love all the characters in If It’s Only Love, they feel like family! Who doesn't love hot sexy men, strong, passionate females, and big loving families, who always support one another? Lexi Ryan continues to deliver all that and so much more. Once again Lexi Ryan has given her readers another amazing book. If It’s Only Love is filled with all the heartbreaking and heartwarming moments and surprise plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in a Lexi Ryan love story, I especially loved the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. She has once again proven that she is an incredible storyteller. I really enjoy how the story is told in the first perspective from the main characters. I love getting into the minds of the characters to know what they are really thinking and feeling. I enjoy how the story is told in both current day (Easton’s return to Jackson Harbor) and the past efforts of a relationship between Shay and Easton. If It’s Only Love is the story of Shayleigh “Shay” Jackson, the only sister among the Jackson brothers and Easton Connor, single father, retired professional quarterback and Carter’s best friend. Shay has always had a crush on Easton and he has also had feelings for her, but life has always got in the way. Easton decides to move to Jackson Harbor to raise his nine-year-old daughter, Abigail away from the media craziness of LA. Easton’s ex-wife, Scarlett, in a drunken outburst told the media that Easton is not Abigail’s father. I love how through the past sections of the book; the reader learns about Shay and Easton’s past attempts at a relationship. Shay is currently in a relationship with the chairman of her dissertation committee, George Alby. A surprise plot twist happens that could change things for Shay and Easton. I really loved If It’s Only Love. I loved Shay and Easton’s love story and all the plot twists. If It’s Only Love was so perfectly written love story. I love how all the women in the book are best friends and support one another. If It’s Only Love felt like a family reunion and catching up with all the other characters from the other books in the series. I love the characters and the family dynamic in If It’s Only Love, the characters feel like family and friends. I enjoy all the interactions among the Jackson siblings and their significant others, it feels like real family love and makes me laugh at their teasing. I love how Shay and Easton work out all their issues and get their happily ever after. My favorite part of the series are the epilogues and how that wrap up all the details of the happily ever after, I especially loved the epilogue in If It’s Only Love. I loved the book; I cannot wait for the next book in the series. If It’s Only Love is a beautifully written best friend’s little sister love story and I loved every moment. Highly recommend this beautifully written story.

The final book in the Boys of Jackson Harbor series, this is Shay's book. As the only sister with 5 brothers, Shay grew up surrounded by boys. One such boy, her brother's best friend, was Easton. He was 4 years older than her, and pretty much off limits when they were kids, but that didn't stop her crushing on him from afar, and on the night he was drafted to the NFL, conversation changed the course of their relationship. It looked like maybe they could be friends of their own merit, outside of her brothers. When Shay needed him, Easton was there, more than once, but real life intrudes, even in the most perfect of times. Ten years later Easton is back in town for good, and on a mission to prove he is in it for the long haul this time. Shay doesn't make it easy for him, and some hurdles may seem insurmountable at first. But if it's only love, they have have everything to lose if they can't get it right this time.

Lexi always does a great job of writing strong, believable characters. She provides real world situations and realistic story lines. Her heroes are always the best guys. I thought the Jackson brothers couldn't be beat, but Easton gives them all a run for their money. Shay is relatable in that even in the most perfect of families, it is easy to lack the confidence you need to be proud of your body and yourself. She was broken, and put herself back together again thanks to that strong foundation. It would take something special for her to risk her heart again. I think many people reading this will be able to relate to that. Everyone just trying to make the right move, finding out it may have been the wrong move the entire time. I think everyone will be able to agree this series ended on a strong note.

This book has everything expected in a great romance novel and did not disappoint.

I started this book on the Kiss app but found it was much savvier to buy the Kindle option. I did consider the audiobook edition at first, but listened to the sample of the audible clip, and the voices didn't match the characters envisioned with the descriptions in the book, so I opted for the Kindle edition.

I ended up buying the full Jackson Habor series and can not wait to read all of them in order.

I downloaded this book on a whim when it popped up on my fb. What a beautiful little intro to get me into this book. It’s Worth the read. I’m going to download the rest of the series. I completed it in 3 days with a toddler in tow. The way Lexi builds up the characters and gets us into their minds is incredible. I felt like I was there.

Connor and Shay's story, this was a book that had me in tears, it tells a bit where Shay's father was dying of cancer, and I was relating back to the last time I saw my own father who died of cancer, but it is no means a sad book it tells the story of two people who fell in love at a very early age even though they kept in touch now and again there love for each other was very much alive, and in the end they managed to find each other.

Lexi Ryan I have found great love for each of your characters in everyone of books thank you for bringing the Jackson Family and Jackson Harbour into my life. I have pre ordered the next story book 7.

I’ve always felt that Shay was a great strong character who knew what she wanted and wouldn’t let anything ruffle her feathers. That was until the epilogue of the previous book where it turns out she’s not as strong and unflappable as I thought!

What I liked best about this book was how Lexi included the key events from the past as they impacted the present. When they’re referenced in the present you’re left like “wait what? What are they talking about?” and then the chapter ends and the next one shows us what happened then.

Rather than bombarding us with all that info that we’d have to then remember, or not showing us at all, I thought this was really clever and done perfectly. I loved Shay and Easton together the whole time. But I’m also glad that they had the struggles they did.

Right up to the very end of the book we’re left on the hook and it’s amazing!

The choices both of them made were true to them and their personality right until the very end.

The way a particular other character acted however was just despicable. How anyone can treat another person that they “love” like that amazes me. The way Shay handled that situation was so much more mature than I ever could! If I was in her shoes, I would’ve beaten the crap out of them and hopefully made sure they lost their job. At the very least, the respect of everyone around them.

I finished the book and was left going “THAT’S how you end a series!” Everything about the book was so well balanced, nothing felt out of character, everything felt like it had a reason for being there and it just worked. Seamlessly. I loved it!
