About the author

Rodzil LaBraun is a creative storyteller that has been inventing unique worlds and alternate realities all his life. He writes what he likes to read: inventive environments, imaginative points of view, and believable characters. He proposes that a far fetched world does not mean that the characters must have extreme personalities or repeatedly make unwise decisions. As humans we spend most of our life in the mundane, but we ourselves are far from boring. We like to escape to new worlds and meet new characters with which we can relate.
His works of fiction include individual books and series in harem adventure, science fiction, and urban fantasy. Intrigued by constructing realistic adaptions of the mythological, paranormal, apocalyptic and superhuman, Rodzil's stories are always unique.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 25, 2020I really enjoyed this book! Can't wait for the next one. I wish I could go on an island adventure like this ... of course, with Joah and the girls as experienced guides for me. I could be a show monkey too! A hard story to put down, fast-paced and full of amazing situations and people. Well done, author LaBraun, well done!
- Reviewed in the United States on January 29, 2022This feels like one of those sci-fi serials they used to run before the feature film in movie theater. There's a cliffhanger every couple of chapters or so and each of the books in this collection run together. The writing is a little stiff but it fits the military background of the narrator. There's a fair amount of gratuitous violence and death, especially in the beginning of the first book. Enough to make me decide to stop reading after I finished the first book but I couldn't. Overall, it's a good story and I think it gets better as goes along.
- Reviewed in the United States on December 31, 2019To me this book is a very slow read. The characters are kind of foggy and the sex scenes leave a lot to be desired.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 31, 2020Excellent book, great characters absolutely nothing like I'd imagined. This book went totally where I never thought it would and it was Fantastic! I can't wait to read the next book!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 5, 2019Overall I enjoyed the book and will look forward to reading the next book in this series. The characters are very diverse and have their own quirks that makes the story more compelling.
- Reviewed in the United States on August 29, 2022Josh Maroon awakens in a completely bewildering environment, naked but for a blanket covering him, a blanket which slides embarrassingly when the only other person around attempts to help him. She can't help but notice what is exposed, though she pretends not to. Where are they? Why are they there? This is as much mystery as sci-fi and is entertaining erotica as well. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2020So not as good as others but somewhat mysterious . . Lots of gaps but read through ok . .
- Reviewed in the United States on December 3, 2019This is a very good adventure sci-fi novel. It is a different captured by aliens for the arena kind of book. I anxiously await the sequel.

3.0 out of 5 stars Interesting
I noticed that there are two volumes more, but some of the premises are similar to a Netflix series called Squid. The sex episodes are acceptable but not worth the potential price of the follow up volumes.
