I keep reading Joy’s books because they captivated the reader. I love how she points out you can come to a relationship with Jesus Christ anywhere anytime! Her characters are real!!! Her topics are current and in this book it brought awareness to human training of your girls. It is scary how easy it can be.
I don’t have to worry about inappropriate content or language either.

I really enjoyed this tale of a former kidnap victim, Asia, turned rescuer of abducted girls. I’d love to read the back story of Asia, and find out what happened to her, and how she escaped. There are some allusions, but nothing specific. There is lots of action and tension, and a reliance on God, throughout. It demonstrates how in tough times, people often turn to God. And I liked the point made, that God helped her, without asking for a commitment from her, before she even was a Christian. I look forward to finding out the next part of the saga … will the slavers succeed in taking her out? There are other things, but that would involve spoilers!
