It is missing the first 20 pages, and the color illustrations. Seems like I got a little unlucky with the copy sent to me.

I really love the way the story is progressing. The author always keeps everything so entertaining... Even the parts that I would normally find slow, and boring. Can't wait for the next volume!

If you enjoyed the first book this is well worth the price, solid writing with few translation issues. We're starting the see some actual character growth rather then just character progression and in quite interested is seeing what's going to happen in the next volume.

I enjoyed the continuation of the story in this volume, but have to dock a star due to some issues with the translation. As with volume 1, there are times where Japanese set phrases have been translated a bit too literally and times when the grammar has not been properly edited from the original Japanese order. These led to some awkward dialogues that don't really work well in English that pulled me out of the experience a bit.

Now, this may all just be a "me" thing because I'm currently learning Japanese and know enough to recognize things like this. You may not even notice or think twice about it, but it bothered me enough to write a review about it.

Fortunately, the publisher has started taking community feedback on their pre-publications to correct issues like this, but they only started doing so as of volume 6 of this series. I'll keep reading on and hope it gets better, I guess.

Honestly enjoying this series so far. Though the character is strong, he's really not that over powered yet. All by himself, without his special slimes, he's really just a middle of the road adventurer. Tank C or B probably. His slimes make him closer to an A rank. Wonderful slice of life/training to be stronger lite novel.

Great read for "tweens" and all others. Light novel indeed. Light hearted with vicious stabs of reality. Fantasy and reality, who knew it could work?

I watched the anime first and then was introduced to the series. I really like it! I’m looking forward to finding out what comes next for little Ryoma. It’s a nice change from other isekai stories; Ryoma’s purpose in this world was to simply arrive, so now we get to see his development from a bad life into a good one with no preset mission/quest for him in this new world. Like I said, a nice change of pace!

A story that can take you through a range of emotion is well done. While having the whole duke's family involved was a bit odd initially it definitely appears to be setting up future events. Their actions also help remind the reader that the MC is only 11 years old, even though his own actions keep punching higher due to his past life.

Like part 1, a simple light hearted isekai slice-of-life light novel. The protagonist is learning about how to make a living, being a bit naive about things but not to an extreme extent. I do hope the gods can meddle with time otherwise their interaction with Earth and this world is real odd.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am in love with the series!

I love the slower pacing yet not stopping for boring details. It's slow, but not too slow. At least I think so.
I really enjoy watching an actually smart character make actually good decisions. Ryoma has a good nature that I can really enjoy and have starved for after reading so many dark books with extremely flawed and evil characters. I miss the slightly more simplistic and friendly character like Ryoma.
I am definitely buying the next book and then gladly will wait for the next one.
This is definitely a new addition to my favourite series. Loved it and recommend it.
