Sometimes, you’ve got to take a job with the devil to pay the bills...

Too bad I learned too late the devil wears Armani, is the most uptight man in the history of history, and I just signed an unbreakable contract shackling me to his pompous royal side for the summer.

But God, he’s got this British accent that makes my panties melt.

Until the words he says catch up with my brain and make me want to throw one of his precious vases at his head.

One minute we’re fighting—and the next—we can't keep our hands off each other. Because somehow, when Mr. Blue Eyes is kissing me, he makes me forget how much he annoys me.

And that starts a whole new level of complications I. Don’t. Need.

Cuz if you dance with the devil, someone’s gonna end up getting burned…

Lords and commoners unite through love

Lords and commoners unite through love
Super adorable story here. A royal and a commoner, rescue dogs, and a serious love of history brought all the pieces of this story together brilliantly!Natalie has a history degree and has only ever used it to scour flea markets and swap meets for antique pieces to sell on Ebay. She posts a vase she just found and got an email about it right away. Some snarky guy from Webley in England was giving her flak about her post. Then he offers her a job to curate an estate for him.She flies across the pond to find that Gavin is the Lord of the Webley estate. His aunt had recently passed and left the 100 room estate full of her hoarded treasures to Gavin. He needs help getting things sorted for the historical society and Natalie is his best bet.The chemistry between Natalie and Gavin is felt almost right away but they're determined to keep it platonic between them. But then Gavin busts through her defenses by buying scarves for her mom and adopting 11 rescue dogs on a whim because they made her smile. The rescue dogs seriously warmed my heart! But she keeps getting warnings that they can never be anything because of his Lordship. So she swears to just get her job done and go back to America before he can worm his way any deeper into her heart. What she feels for him is more than a crush, but without the promise of a future, what is she supposed to do?

Natalie Reeder has a degree in History and is without a steady job to help pay for her mother's medical bills. When she meets the intriguing Gavin Webley on the internet after advertising a product, he soon offers her a job in England, to be the curator and catalog the antiques that his Great Aunt Sarah collected.
The first meeting between them is fun and when Natalie arrives at the "castle", she is fascinated with all the history that exists there. Gavin is intrigued by her knowledge and passion for the job.
And soon the two begin to spend time together, but Gavin decides to move away so as not to create problems for either of them. However, the attraction between them is bigger than they imagined and they will have to deal with interference from society and Gavin's parents.
I loved the story and the characters. I highly recommend the reading.

A good, if not outstanding story. Nothing particularly noteworthy but entertaining nonetheless. Enjoyed the narration.

Enemies do lovers is my favorite! Add in a Brit and I’m a goner! Definitely pick this up if you want butterflies!

American Natalie is a fun heroine. She's smart and sassy, loves her family, antiques, history, and dogs. Gavin is an English Lord who's stoic exterior is cracked by Natalie who is working to clean up Gavin's inheritance from his Aunt who, along with the castle, left him a huge collect of valuable "things". He hires Natalie as the curator for the antiques and the sparks fly... loved their chemistry.

Heired Lines by Magan Veron a five-star read that jewel of a read. Aaaawww Gavin, you really are a little bit of a grump aren’t you but let’s be honest I think we all would be if we had his family. I really, really liked Natalie she had a little of Great Aunt Sarah’s fire and love of treasure. This was such a fun and flirty read, I love this authors writing as she just makes life funny, its great as she pulls all the different aspects to life and manages to get everything in and make it all make sense, but still be funny and a little naughty. I started this one thinking I would read a couple of chapters before bed, as I’m now working from home I don’t have a long commute so I don’t have to be up so early (thank goodness) so it was great timing, until I couldn’t put it down and stayed up reading till 4am. I’m sat at my home desk in my pjs with a coffee, my hairs a mess and I am present in body if not spirit, but I don’t care, I managed to read this amazing story and have fun regal dreams!! Let your reality be held for a moment especially during these troubling times and enjoy being a lady for a moment and enjoy this fun ride of a read.

This book is well written and edited. I truly loved the heroine. I would have given the book more stars if I could have cared more for the hero. He was just too wimpy. His profession and his
Ridiculous lack of smiling were a big put-off. The story did have a happy ending eventually.

I absolutely loved this book! It's the best contemporary romance I have read in a while. Both main characters are amazing. I loved how they met and the chemistry between them is off the charts. This is one of those slow burn kind of stories that I just love reading.
Gavin hires an American curator to take care of his estate but what he didn't anticipate is to fall for the said employee. His family is no ordinary family and there are certain expectations that come with his title. He should know better than to fall in love with an American. What kind of a mess is he going to create for them both?
Natalie is a historian who is having a hard time finding a job. So when a guy asks her to fly to another country to work, she says yes. Frankly, she needs the money and this seems like an ideal job. She loves history and curating for an English lord sound like a dream come true. What she didn't sign up, is the family drama and the hunk of a guy she is now having a hard time resisting. Can she do her job and fly back home, keeping her heart intact or is she going to be in real trouble?
All in all, Heired Lines is a delightful read, and I recommend it to all book lovers. I hope you enjoy this fun, romantic story as much as I did.

Natalie is smart and sassy, we get to see that and her excitement of being surrounded by all of the antiques that she gets to work with, she is playful with the Great Pyreness and mutts but it's the building of the relationship, the slow burn she has for Gavin that gives us a character that we want to root for.
